Lots of awesome cars have been left out, just depends on your taste as to whether it bothers you.
That car is phat though 👍

I wish the veyron would be a premium and look more realistic, the inside is just black with 3 windows and half a steering wheel.

Just goes to show that Ford wins again...

Shelby Supercars is not related to Shelby American in any way, they just happen to have the same name.

Oh really? =P My bad. I feel like an idiot now XD

The biggest disappointment in GT5 for me was getting in the Veyron and taking it for I drive, and discovering I couldn't use interior view.

Moeeee

Half a steering wheel is more than it needs because a Steering wheel wont improve the veyrons horrible handling. Hell, that upside down bath tub may handle BETTER without a steering wheel.

Just imagine; upgraded according to GT5's tuning, It'll hit ~1400hp:dunce:
And 300+ mph:yuck:

It'd be the new troll car:grumpy:

Correction: it is not faster then the Veyron. That is, not faster then the Super Sport. ;)

Ultimate Aero - 1,287 hp only 1,292 kg...
Veyron SS - 1,184 hp at 1,888 kg!

hmmm.... Someone do the math here. -_-

The SS is faster than the Aero
Aero- 256.18 MPH
Veyron SS- 267.86 MPH

^ One of the main reasons is that Bugatti had a flat, long, straight test track to do their top speed run, while SSC only had a closed public road, with kinks, and lots of undulations. It could theoretically do 275mph!

Anyways, I'm not really fond of the Aero, but the SSC Tuatara:

DLC me wants! :grumpy:

It's much more complicated than that. You have to consider other variables such as the aerodynamics, the tyres, the gear ratios, the cooling, etc.

It's not a simple case of more power = faster.

What?! We all know the solution to everything is MORE POOOOOOWWWEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Yep, that is correct, if you gave the SSC the same test run as the veyron SS, im sure it could have easily taken the fatsest production car in the world title.

But on topic, i hate seeing the veyron by its self, the main conpetitor to it, is the SSC, and i want a drag race, veyron v Ultimate aero.

Not a fan on the SS Aero, a Lamborghini Diablo kit car with a ridiculously big engine, has none of the luxury of a Veyron or the engineering beauty, just a bigger engine to allow it to go about 3mph faster. Its not a very interesting car other than having a high top speed and it is not a very good car either. The Aero was never going to beat the Veyron power to power because its actual "aero"dynamics were bad, it generated a lot of drag. Its easy to throw out "theoretical" numbers, but it doesnt mean anything, what stops Bugatti from doing the same thing and adding more power? The only numbers that count are the real world actual numbers.

Lets see what they can do with their new car.

a Lamborghini Diablo kit car...

No.

...with a ridiculously big engine
A 6.3L V8 compared to an 8L W16. Yeah, it's a ridiculously big engine alright...

has none of the luxury of a Veyron
It wasn't built for luxury.

or the engineering beauty,
This "engineering beauty" motif is entirely avoiding why it was engineered the way it was in the first place.

just a bigger engine to allow it to go about 3mph faster.
Again, it's engine isn't bigger, and it's top speed was only that after the two runs were averaged; on it's first run it was already quicker than the original Veyron.

I won't even bother with the rest as you've already made yourself look foolish enough.

I prefer the SSC over the Veyron. The Veyron is stupidly overrated in my opinion.

Some of this is true.

The Veyron is a car that you could drive around town at normal speeds and blast it on an open road. Probably much quieter at low speeds too.

The SSC is unrefined and a bit of a brute. Typically american  (JOKES)

It's between that and the Pagani Huayra for the weirdest name in motoring history.

But my god, that is sexy... me wants!

I really wish Tuatara to be included in GT at one point or another. That car looks stunning. That's how a production car with 1000+ hp is supposed to look like, not an ugly fat toad veyron.

What?!

"Oh, let's put a huge motor in a carbon fibre body and stick a Shelby name on it."
No, just no. There are much more important cars to be but in GT5, such as Supra RZ in premium, Alfa Romeo 155 and many more (not to mention BMW 840) rather than this unknown thing.

Math for top speed? Not possible without drag. Weight has nothing to do with it.

The SS has the edge in top speed.

It's actually comfy and could navigate corners that would turn a Veyron upside down.

If I recall, even Clarkson couldn't find much wrong with it. I know for sure I'd buy the SCC way before I even considered a Veyron.

Yeah I agree, the car you described sounds kind of silly, unlike the SSC Ultimate Aero. That's a really nice car. Faster than a huge motor in an overweight 4WD body too. A question though, what does being well known have to do with importance.

Noone said that it should be #1 priority for PD. But it still would be nice to have it in the game sooner or later.
