It's almost as good as 'Little wing' as played by SRV and Hendrix.

That's probably my single favorite piece of recorded guitar ever. Many people have lamented the fact that he never got to record the vocal before his death, but I think it's better as an instrumental.

I've got the video of him playing Both times on "Austin City Limits"
The man put a great deal of himself into the music.
I don't know what the vocals would have sounded like.. but I really like the instrumental version too.

stairway to heaven isn't bad. it's a decent song. and page is a pretty decent guitarist. but if you want the most killer solo's i would look to slash.

No, you should look back to Page. The song Heartbreaker more specifically. Slash is great but Page is better.

I never really liked Stairway to Heaven as much as I liked the rest of Zeppelin's stuff.

That sign is up because no one can play it like Page, and after you hear it "murdered" a few thousand times by novice guitarists...
