Since the video image can be considered a spoiler, I put all of them in spoiler tags.

Edit: pre-release ticket sales have reached $50 million.

16 days!

Also, Harrison Ford has seen the movie and says it's "wonderful".

...

Of course he would say that. I mean, what else can he say about the movie?

I bet you in other interviews he will say stuff like "Oh, it was a real pleasure working with everyone. They are so talented. They are all so super nice. JJ is a visionary/amazing/great director and I won't hesitate to work with him again in the future", etc. :sly:

Well we all know how he is, and he has said not so nice things about his movies in the past. Not to mention he didn't even really want to do another Star Wars movie anyway. There's plenty of articles released online the last couple days that say this same exact thing.

...Yeah, the grumpy Harrison Ford who hardly smiles, like ever - I remember that well.

Although, I'm pretty certain he got a paycheque with lots of zeroes on it. That tends to change a person's mind real quick, see.

I'll be more interested in what other actors have to say about the movie, like John Boyega for instance.
He's not a so-called industry veteran so he might let slip some things he's not suppose to.

There's this GQ interview he did but I haven't read it yet - I'll go check that out with fingers crossed...

Edit: never mind. It was nothing more than a PR stunt, that GQ interview.

Well, both the director and one (or was it all) of the actors from this year's "Fantastic Four" won't even acknowledge the film's existence and these were people payed crap loads to do all these ads to hype the hell out of the film.

this year's "Fantastic Four"

...Well, there's your reason why the people involved were rather reluctant to talk about it. Bad example, imho.

As far as doing press junkets go, I believe it's written into the contract; do a film, options for future sequels, cut of the future earnings from home releases and merchandising, positive PR works, the whole nine yards.

Thing is, they were payed massive amounts of money and they weren't exactly singing the praises of the movie before it came out (The exact situation with Harrison Ford here) AND after. As easy an assumption as it is to make, a Actor doesn't necessary need a paycheck just to say the movie they were in is good, which is the point I'm making.

...Of course that's true, too - not denying that. BUT!! FF reboot was dogged with bad rumors from the word get-go.

Rumors of crew's unhappiness, studio meddling, going way over budget, eccentric behavior from the director, whatever, all gave the movie bad image even before the release. Then there was that review embargo Fox instituted, causing more bad press.

The way I see it, it's a minor miracle that some of the people involved were willing to talk about it in the first place.

There's a Chinese market trailer too, with lots of new footage! Poor Falcon..

Gee. Thanks a bunch for making me search out and watch that. Think i've seen half the film now  ;)

I'm seeing an awful lot of similarities with A New Hope. It's almost as if it's a re-boot in some respects.

Well, it's supposed to be 2hrs and 30 something minutes.. And all these trailers and TV spots together are maybe 10-15 minutes..?

I've made a very good job all these months avoiding all the propaganda of the movie. Only thing I know it that this new evil guy is called K. Ren or something, and so far I only watched the very 1st trailer. Nothing else.

Also, 5000 posts :gtpflag::cheers:

While I hope to be proven wrong in the movie, I have a problem taking the villain's name seriously:
