The Blu-Ray release of TFA is now officially set for April 5th in the USA.

A photo leaked a couple days ago of the Best Buy exclusive steelbook version which is the one I will be purchasing.

I don't usually see the point in pre-ordering stuff, but I may do it this time just to complete my steelbook Star Wars collection.
 
I like pre-ordering from Amazon in cases like this, largely because of the release date delivery.
 
While we wait for TFA to hit Blu-Ray next week, the Rebels animated TV show has been gaining some attention lately. I haven't been watching it since I don't have cable (I have been keeping up with what's going on though), but tonight's hour long season 2 finale promises to be really good so I will try to find some way to watch it. People that have been able to see it early say that it's really dark, probably the darkest Star Wars cartoon episode ever released.

It was amazing, (bar the helicopters). Won't say more because I'm not sure you've seen it. But the intensity of the most "feared" moments was great (although you need to be a fan of the Clone Wars TV series to really appreciate all that is going on there, anyone that just saw the movies will miss most of it).

PS - The "shadow" was brilliantly portrayed. Voice acting and animation alike.
 
I haven't seen it yet, trying to find a way to view it online. I can pay $2 per episode and watch it on Prime, not sure I want to do that just yet. I have watched most of the reviews though on YouTube, so I've spoiled myself already. :p

I'm really getting tired of 'em 30-second teaser trailers for 2 minute trailers. C'mon now.

Oh wait, is it a teaser for a trailer or for the film itself?
 
I think it's a 30 second teaser only. A lot of people are betting that the full trailer will debut in front of Civil War next month.

It's been how many years since we've had a Star Wars film? TFA did so well based on that fact alone and I doubt the next two episodes will do as well. But as I said, it was the return of Star Wars they had to hype it up with everything they had.
 
Finally got to see TFA at the final run theater! My only question is why did I wait so long?

Make a room for some hiatus. Last film was on November so i presume to make it seems not rushed and also on time for holiday.

Also the film itself might not fully finished atm.
