Day 46 & 47 5/23 & 5/24
It was all about A-Spec Enduro's.
Day 46 I ran the Laguna Seca 200 in the morning and the Indy 500 in the afternoon. Laguna was interesting because I used a stock BMW Z4M. I figured the tight handling and acceleration would serve me well. Little did I know I didn't know how to drive the course without burning out my tires.
For the Indy 500 I tried to find a car that was going to make it a competitve race (always do). However, in this race the AI always brakes for the turns when it doesn't have to. So now way to find anything that will work. Went with the Mamut 908 HDI.
Day 47 I was finally where I wanted to be! Level 32 and access to the 4hr Nurb race. I had been searching for the dream ride to drive this with, Race Modified Corvette Z06. Not the best handling, but good enough for the AI level of competition. I choose sporty and colorful over more stable like the Lexus IS-F. It was easy to sit through the 2-2.5 hr races and only get up a few times for breaks. The 4hr race turned into 6 hrs. Just grueling!
I do and I don't look forward to the 24hr races. Really, really hoping for in-race saves before I get to them.

It's been all about remote races since reaching level 35. The distance is vast. Like walking from one side to the other of all the deserts on the planet combined. Remoting is going to be a constant going forward. Help and get help earning cash even after reaching level 40. Too bad my AT&T internet has been mostly down. Can't wait to switch to cable internet! 3.5 months!
As soon as the net gets back up (hopped on to a neighbors) will remote most of the next few days!
