I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but since the last maintanance, myself and 3 other friends have had a problem on Cote d'azur, we are practicing for our next league race in which we are using the Acura NSX RM.
We will be going fine wether we are tuning, qualifing or racing but now and again when we are braking into a corner the car simply will not turn in, we are using DFGT wheels, its the wierdest thing, and before i get a load of people saying the car will understeer more when braking, this is not a handling issue, its a genuine bug, youll be going fine and then the next minute your car will stop responding under braking and your in the wall, weve practiced, qualified then raced 9 laps and not had it happen, other times lap 3 and its un-usable. Just for the record were using no Aids other than ABS 1 , 500 pp and Racing Hards. If anyone can shed light on this problem id be interested to find out whats going on.

Seems pretty bad. If you're using a DFGT check that all the cables are in properly? I've had times when the cables for the pedals fell out the wheel mid race. If it is a Genuine bug then it's best to try and make Polyphony aware of this bug.

Ok, I'm not sure whether it was the NSX RM I read about sometime ago, but there was some complaints about a steering bug with that car. I've never experienced it myself. Try searching for it.

Try out some other cars to see if the same glitch happens. That should tell you if it's the NSXs prob or your steering wheels.

I've seen a few threads complaining about the Acura NSX RM and some were quite a while ago. So if there is something wrong with this car the maintenance didn't cause it and the last few updates didn't either.

Odd... I've been getting this bug in my G27... one second I am braking and next I know I've lost all control of my car, steering is dead...

In answer to a few of these replies, its happened to 5 of us now so its not the wheels cables that are slipping out, all i play is GT5, since the day it came out its hardly left my PS3, I can assure you its a genuine bug not setup or cables etc.

Ive just finished our league race which was half of the field in the Nisan Silvia RM and the other half in the Acura NSX RM, not one person got this bug in the Silvia but a few of us had it happen in the NSX sometimes at the same time, so those of you who said that they read the NSX RM has a steering bug looks like they have the answer to me.

In a way im pleased its not the maintenance after the FF LSD bug this wouldnt look good at all for PD !!!!.

Anyway a big thanks for the help guys, I knew someone on GTplanet could shine some light on the problem for us. At least all my league has to do is not use the Acura NSX RM anymore, not really a big loss. But for the record this car obviously still has the bug. Ill go and see if i can find the old posts concerning this issue and see if all the results are the same for other people. Once again thx for the info guys.

Thats exactly it, one second its all good then under braking the car simply will not respond to steering at all, it doesnt matter what u do its as if you have no control, whereas seconds before the car was behaving totally normally, its a really odd bug that ive only experienced in the NSX RM, personaly I wont be using that car again.

I have over 550 cars and own all the Race cars in the game, (Standard and Premium) down to stupid stuff like the beetle Cup car and ive never had this bug happen to any other car, admitadly ive not driven everything in the game, ive not even driven every car i own but at a conservative estimate Ive easily driven 500 cars in this game and never seen this bug before.

I had this happen on Laguna Seca yesterday in a Lexus LFA on the 3rd to last corner and once in a RM ZR1 at grand valley. I was using a DS3 and had racing softs with all aids off exept abs on 1 and controller sensitivity on 7. Feels almost like it's going into autopilot.

Maybe it's with particular cars. Because mine was with a LFA as well.

I'm glad others are reporting this. I've had it happen several times too, and it's very odd. Everything would be fine.., I'd then come to a corner.., and it's like the steering input just died.

I didn't lock my brakes, lose grip or anything like that. The car just did not respond to steering input, and I'd go off the track or hit a wall.

Can i ask you guys when you started to notice that you were getting these problems?

Umm. I kinda noticed it after update. But really noticed it once I read this. Thought it was just me at 1st.

Trust me it isnt you, its a race killer, Ive not raced in anything much other than the NSX RM since the last update because i was practicing for our league race which we had earlier tonight, the bottom line is if i get this bug in other cars ill be really annoyed as its impossible to race competetively when it happens.

I thought it was happening after the last maintenance/update also but some guys who posted above said they thought it was just the NSX RM but if people are getting this problem in other cars since the last update then obviously its a new problem. To be honest at the moment im not sure whats causing it or exactly when it cropped up.

Hi, Try another car and see if it happens again.. maybe a bug? If you clobber a wall the steering will be "off" for a while (half a lap or so) anyway and at the "Cote" there are lots of corners and lots of walls, maybe some more ABS?? See what happens in "Practice" mode...Have fun.

Lol, yeah its nothing to do with hitting walls, I can lap Monaco in the said car at that power for ages without hitting walls, trust me all i play is GT5, whatever is causing it wether its my PS3, the game or my wheel dying its definatly not from hitting a wall !!!

Well I'm sure it will be patched if there really is a problem. Fingers crossed. Lol

Yeah... I've experienced it in two other cars, the F40 and the SLS... It was fine before...

If it is a product of the last update then I wonder if PD are even aware that it exists, Ive been testing all night with the GSX R/4 at Cape ring inside for my next league race then DTM at Deep forest and it didnt happen once.

I've never seen this happen before , my DFGT has always responded correctly.

It would be good to get an official PD clarification though.

Since the update there is some kind of bug/glitch going on with DFGT wheels.
There are a whole bunch of us getting issues with steering problems.

I don´t think that its a DFGT problem because I've tried it and it happened to me with a DS3 the cars that I've tried were NSX RM, LFA, the SLS AMG I'm not sure but I've changed to RS and it still felt odd, like a really big delay after you let go of the brakes and the steering input starts.

Im not sure if its coincidence or that they have fixed it but i havent had this problem since the last update a few days ago
