IMO sTI definitely, why would you wanna use a regular car when you might have a chance @ the championship using an improved car tuned and modded by STi

It's not written big enough?

Hmmm, the front is starting to look a little like Hyundai's rally machine (can't remember the name). The front grille (not the intercooler intake) is what I'm looking at.

Yeah thats what I thought when I first saw it a couple of months ago

new season has started, are they using the WRX impreza STi or is it the regular WRX impreza?

It's neither really - the rally car is hugely different to the road car.

That said, the engine is custom built by Subaru Tecnica International in Japan. The rest of the car is built by Prodrive in the UK.

I'm quite certain the suspension on the Rally version is built by STi;) Just like the steering wheel is a MOMO, and the rims are BBS. Subaru has contracts with these companies. Though these are assumptions on my part......

Obviously, there's a fair amount of componentry bought in, but then there always is with these things. I would be surprised if it's an STI-designed suspension system - I think I'll do some checking on that.

The SWRT web site is cagey on the subject, saying only what type of suspension is fitted to each corner. It does, however, state that the dampers are of Bilstein/Prodrive construction.

Oi! My definition of rice is putting stickers of stuff on your car that you don't own. I guess it doesn't make any sense though, so just ignore my post.
