yea i see what you mean, but for the suspension, although struts do a good job, its been proven that double wishbone type gives better overall grip on hard corners, although the evo has struts on the front, it has multilink in the rear, and its shown that the evo engines were able to take more power than those subaru boxer engines. now i know some of it might have to do with my opinion, but some of it has some truth to it. all those things you said about the subaru are nice, but why dont you give me reasons why you like the evo better?

Although the Lancer has better turning and could dominate in autocrossing events, it seems like the turbo lag would kill it. If your coming out of corner at relatively low RPMs the STi is already boosting, it would seem the Evo would be struggling to push out all 21 PSI. I could be wrong. Braver people could toss it into 1st gear as well, but I can never seem to do that.

you see, most evos usually turn out better numbers than stis of the same class. i just think the evo is a better car overall. i just dont like the how the newest evos rear window slants down too steep, and the top part has too much area to it, like it makes it look like an echo from the side view, but it looks good from angles, front, and rear.

Evo VIII stock do push out more boost then the 2004 STi stock.

Evo VIII pushes 21 PSI, as the STi pushes out 13.5 PSI, I believe.

they said 14 psi for STi... but yeah thats basically correct.

Car and Driver posted 14.5 PSI, I told this to a guy that works for a Subaru dealership in Dallas. He says he drives STis around all day, and is currently dropping a JDM Spec WRX engine into his 2000 RS. He also says they only boost at 13.5 and the WRXs boost at 14.5. I trust him.
