in my defense it was on a straight freeway at around 11 at night with a barrier in the middle and no sidewalks on the side, no turns..etc, it was just coming out of a populated area...
and yah, street racing IS stupid, if your a dumbass that thinks his car can handle a turn at 160kph.....umm this would not be me, i break all my races off at or before 140kmh.
and when i drive someone else i keep it to the speed limit.
and i NEVER race in a place that has a chance of pedestrians or other cars in the vicinity, im not an effin idiot, every time i race, the only person(s) that have a chance of being injured or killed is me, and/or the person racing me. i do it at my own risk, and only at my own risk..
for all who know i was racing on the barnet highway heading towoard port moody.
 
Yeah... have you ever heard of TXR0? You should have known it was a game since he said "Then my TXR0 disc was scratched,"

Im guessing you dont know what TXR0 was until Famine told you it was a video game..

But even so! Even thinking about streetracing, hell, even attempting it is foolish. Even if you were 110% sure that their was no way you could have crashed.

Racing has no place on a public highway. The above quote should read, "and I NEVER race".

Often made misasumption.
This is the argument of: I only race late at night when there is nobody els on the road.

If you are there, why wouldn't another car be able to be there?

The 2 cars I posted on it the previous post didn't think there would be traffic on that road either, it was a sunday afternoon in a rural area afterall? :rolleyes:
 
And to use your "no sidewalks" argument again.

Just because there are no sidewalks doesn't mean no pedestrians. Any pedestrians that are about (11pm, drunk people going home, walking down middle of the road) will be in the road, not on the sidewalks.

And also, 11pm. Dark. Less visibility to see any obstruction in the middle of the road.
 
Omg... Now I'm going to have to kill you Zamataki.. You DO realize that many people have lost their lives on Barnet Highway right? There ARE turns on Barnet highway. Given, theyre extremely long, but still. A public road is no place to race. Many people have been killed on that highway by reckless driving. You may think you don't drive recklessly, but as the old saying goes, you're only as safe as the most dangerous person.

Please leave man, You are making more of a mockery out of yourself then a "cool person" . You are the complete definition of this

If you haven't figured out yet, we don't care for street racing here and I think in the AUP people who do talk about it in a expressive way of "showing-off" or bragging should be banned. . .
 
Right, I think the point has been well made, and has also got across to the individual concerned. I'm going to close it before it gets too ugly.

Any time you race on any public street, you endanger other people besides yourself.
