Stock wheel paint glitch?

I've searched and found no info on the subject.
Is there still a way to paint your stock wheel?
and if yes
Can someone explain in DETAILS how to exploit that glitch.
I'm guessing you can for a small numbers of cars.

It's a glitch of the 2.00 update, so unless your game is not updated, and stays at the 2.00, I guess it's not possible to paint on car's stock rims anymore...

Of course, there might still be a few, but you'll have to search them from a total of 1000+ cars...

Read this whole topic. You need indeed to downgrade to v2.00 or else trade someone on the marketplace.

Why did they patch it? Theres 600 other things to patch way before a small exploit that nobody asked to be fixed.

Geez, I feel like the next step will be Sonys user agreements will review their policies so its forbid to have to much fun over a long period of time playing video games. You need to pay a 8$ fee to PS store for a GT auto DLC :\ ...

I guess DLC IS ruining the game.

I don't understand why they didn't let you pick options for new cars. Cause new cars are USUALLY available with different wheel selections. Same thing with interior colors and such. Not being able to paint stock wheels is a downer though, especially considering the very limited and not so appealing selection of aftermarket wheels we get.

Don't cry mate, if you want to, you can still easily downgrade to v2.00 and do the trick...
they patched it, because it was a bug/glitch, and any developer will fix any glitch/bug in their software.

You can't get 2.0 at all. If you are current thats it. Your 1.0 or 2.04.

Yes, you can... if your game was staying at the 2.00 update, and you decided to not play online, you can stay at the 2.00 update.

But you can't manually downgrade and magically update to 2.00 when there's a newer patch available.
So unless you aren't on 2.00 it's touch luck.
At least for those that have the older GT5 disc.
