Correct - ish. But when you couple it with the fact that in the 45-49 age group there are currently just about 10 million individuals alive (source) and there were more than 21 million live births in the US between 1958 and 1962 (source) and you'll see that the data I originally posted - while not specifically showing that - is indicative of the trend I stated.
