I criticize PD's work. I point their mistakes and think of ways they can do things bettter. I also ask for more cars and tracks. But I'm reasonable. I'm constructive. And I'm thankful for the game/simulator they've made and the way they listen to us fans.

I support this completely.

PS: Complainers favourite: PD sucks because they don't include the Toyota whateverthevcrap 80's K-car that's only known to japanese commuters, because it's my dad's car, and the Desertedwastelandlostinwhateverdrearytown speedway, which is my local track. I'm gonna buy Forza because it doesn't include them either.

It's very different than:
"PD is crap, Kaz is crazy, he should retire and EA run the GT franchise! Another Skyline!? Don't want this even if its for free!!! GT5 is crap!!! Give me my car!"
This is typical complainer attitude.

People are aloud to voice their opinion. That's what forums are for.

True, but this has to go both ways. We are not cracking down on people who voice their opinions or asking a moderator to get involved, but rather encouraging the complainers to see the positives in GT5. We are not starting a war, nor are we complaining about complainers. We are simply trying to improve the community by showing that GT5 is a great game and there isn't a need to complain about it, because as we have seen in the past Polyphony Digital is working hard to create the best product(s) they can.

GT5 is the best bang for the buck I have ever paid, hands down, for a game. I paid $40 recently for Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection for the PS3. $40 for two PS2 games in their standard graphics. And people have the audacity to complain about GT5?

So, its how complainers work. You can give them a truck full of money and they'll complain about what they are going to do with all that money.

So what you're saying is people complain and they get something, then they complain again and get something else, then find something different to complain about and end up getting that too, so forth and so on...

You can count me very much in. Complaining when it is justified is one thing but those moaning about every little stupid detail which does not suit them should get a grip.

Forums exist for people to express opinions on, we all do it, but there is a line some cross which is undoubtedly ridiculous.

From what I remember most of these additions came from suggestions rather than complaints. For example, alot of people suggested Spa the Adventador. They didn't complain about not having it.

A question if I may:

The basis of this cult group is to arrive at the point where everyone has nothing but positive remarks? If I may be blunt, and I have ill will against that intention, but just what in the hell is that supposed to achieve?

If everyone has nothing but good to say day in and day out you'll soon start complaining about that, and even if you don't how long until this niche wears off of everyone having the same opinions? What will there be to discuss? You all think the same. That's just... that's just boring.

Complaints are different than suggestions.
Suggestion example: I think PD should add more premium cars. I would really like the Veyron to have an interior.

Complaint Example: After two months they came out with just four cars. FOUR. What have they been doing this past year? Why don't they listen to suggestions. The standard cars look like crap. They added custom wheels, but premium wheels look like crap on standard cars. They have a horrible selection of custom wheels.

Also, this will benefit the community because it will convert the haters into lovers. We aren't flaming the haters, we are trying to talk to them and help them understand why they shouldn't complain about Polyphony Digital.

Mmmmmm, it would appear it depends on weather YOU agree with the "suggestion" or not. If YOU agree its a suggestion, if you dont agree its a complaint or someone having another whinge.

I love the game, play almost every night, race in a league, have heaps of other games that i dont play because GT5 does it for me. I put forward an idea just yesterday and was bagged by you schwartz as it was another stupid idea by another complainer.

Have fun in your love in, as someone else said on page one, "thats what forums are for", just so long as SOMEONE doesnt think you having a whinge !!

And well, you look like a grown up man that knows how to read, better than me because seems that english is your native language, so, if you read my toughts, you'll understand that asking and/or requesting is different than complaining.

They platinum the game, then start crying for more additional content. They get what they asked for, and they still aren't satisfied. Now I'm not criticizing EVERY GT5 Platinum racer out there, but you know who you are if the aformentioned describes you.

This is a movement of people who want to help out the community by trying to get people to have a more positive view of Gran Turismo, rather than blowing up every small problem it has. Contrary to what you think, we are not complainers. Complainers like to sit around and, well, complain and do nothing to help the situation. But the Stop the Epidemic / Stop the Hate movement focuses on reversing negative views on Gran Turismo. Unlike complainers, we do something about things we don't like. (hence the inclusion of the word "movement" in our name.

I see alot of movement there but I feel that all that movement will take you nowhere.

In this thread you allready have the people that hate the haters, people that hate those who complain, people that hate platinum players, etc, etc and the list will get longer... thats a lot of hate for a movement to be based on.

Yes but your mom isn't getting paid hundreds of millions of pounds/euros/dollars/yen to make your dinner, so yes it would be a bit cheeky to complain about that As for the Big Mac analogy well no I wouldn't, unless they left out the Big Mac sauce, then I'd certainly complain as it would be a half-arsed attempt at a Big Mac just as some of PD's efforts has been a half-arsed attempt at DLC, hence why some people complain. Me personally I don't mind, I can afford to buy the DLC so it's not a big deal throwing £10 every month or two PD's way for a few extra cars and tracks although some of the packs have felt like a waste of money to be honest but I can understand why people get annoyed about it.
