PD will soon close the loophole and the community will be left with 500 P4's and very little really cool cult cars. I'm talking about the NISMO 270R, Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, G4 Ginetta. After that the market will correct itself, it always does.
As soon as people start to lust about cars that are difficult to find their value will go up. Soon we'll see people trading Miuras for Bellett 1600 GT-Rs. I know I would trade my 1.5M Pikes Peak audi (have two, one with the 12 level ticket, the other by finishing some kind of challenge) for a cult jdm worth not more that 50K.
The most sought after car now is the Formula GT because: you can't get it with the exploit, you need it to finish the game, it cost 4M and you have to buy it, it rarely shows in the used car lot.
It's now worth more that all the 20M cars combined. I know I'll grind the 1.5M that I need to buy it and search for it in the used car lot after every race. I wouldn't have it any other way.
