Has the re-race procedure changed from last season?

Normally we just re-run qualifying as well because it could get messy with new/unexpected/reserve drivers joining. Would they just be placed at the back of the grid now?

I thought I'd be the first to post I'm "IN" and secure my spot :D :cheers:
If the room is good for qualifying and we see each other, don't leave afterwards. Stay in the room till race starts 👍

There wont be Qualy, we will be using the qualy results from last week with any drivers who didnt q starting at the back.

To be honest Chris, we have no firm rule for this, i just go by what people seem to be happy with, i dont think it matters either way to me, and others have not made any issue, so i was happy to just let it be using last weeks q.

However we do have a slight issue, although Blue was not there last week, he says he will happy to start at the back,
we also have Kossu who is a regular, and Lozza who is a reserve that may be there.

Its as Chris suggests a bit messy.

At present we have 15 regulars and 3 reserves for 16 spots in each race.

Normally the regulars vote in or out and at the Sunday night deadline of 21:00 uk time
the reserves who have voted IN take the free places left by those drivers that have voted out or no voted at all on a first vote In takes the free slots in order.

So yes it is messy.

I wonder if we just dont have reserves at all, we just have a roster of 18 drivers.
Then we can just have the first 16 to vote In get the 16 places.
I will always put up the Sign in page by Saturday at Noon UK, then the first 16 to post in get the 16 places.
That may be fair for everyone PLEASE POST ME IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS NEW METHOD.

This will mean that no one is guaranteed a place, except me of course lol, as i do the posts.

SO we need to get this sorted asap
WE NEED A VOTE ON

1 if we have a race cancelled for any reason SHOULD WE REQUALIFY NEXT WEEK ?
2 do we all agree with 18 drivers Roster on a first 16 to vote in get the places ?

I will take all the voting until Friday night 26/6/15 at 22.00 uk then the decision will be taken.

Im joking, although keeping the qualifying results is a good idea but it does seem a little unfair on those who didn't qualify. Hmm. :confused:

Is it possible that we also vote on that ''pace lap'' ends at start/finish line? That way all of us can CLEARLY know exact point at witch we are allowed to speed up.

Especially for Monza, if we start at Parabolica we would get a pile up diving into first chicane even with cars equal on bhp... And double that with handicaps :)

Well, the pace lap really is for stopping any lag, as we have had many races where lag has dissapeared after the first half of the lap.

The Pace car rule is that the polesitter should exit the final bend accelerating to flat out, that way there is usually a little spread of cars as most cars will be on the bend and unable to go flat out until they get to the exit of the bend.
There is no passing until past the start finish line.

Thats the rule, and in reality Monza seems a place where incidents will happen, but in the past we found that we have not had any problems.
