It was a bit of a wasted chance for me.
Although i had many many laps practice over the last 5 days, i had never had a race at Bathurst before, so it was learning all week.
I knew that i had to have max concentration not to damage myself on the walls as even with all the practice i never felt i had the track where i could attack it, and my best ever 2 02 was dangerous, so i opted for a safe pace of 2 03 - 2 04 and driving within my limits so as not to crash on a 2 stop RS for 35 min - RS for 30 min then 25 min on RM .

Starting last, and after seeing a few poor souls crashing early and going to pit, it worked well for 45 minutes, jumping up to 3rd after most pitted at 20 minutes then dropping to 6th place after my 1st stop, and all was looking well.
Then a slight distraction and bash, damage, limp to pits etc and from then on i just could not get back that rhythm and a few mistakes here and there saw me in hopeless position, so i went over to where Fili was parked.

Great win Lozza and second Kossu and Srt and also a great recovery by Phaed after his first lap crash to finish 4th.

The weather for next weeks Red Bull Ring, is for rain i am afraid, however it may be heavy but the weather will be warm,
and windy, so there may be downpours that wet the track quickly then the heat and wind will dry it up again quicky.

Handicap's effect really heavy in RBR ithink. İ really sad for missing bathrust and hope for nothing make me missing for this race. İ also lose my chance for championship. After now take risks and just try to win some race :)

Thanks, Logic, it's really nice to have weather parameters so promptly, then we can get practicing. You are doing remarkable job for us all :)

I don't enjoy wet racing yet, but I'll enjoy the joy of those who love it 👍

So, bring out those leather-hosen and let's be all Austrian like for a week! I Edelweiss you

Well, just add Lozza to the list and then we can call you Captain Perfect :)

Next race MIGHT be first time I'll be looking forward to the rain, since my bhp are at moderate level curently... I mean it might motivate me to try and learn it.

A good friend of mine promised he will do what is possible to pass on me some of his infinite knowledge, i'm looking forward to that as well

@blodyboyblue - Thank you for taking "triple" care during race while we were driving together... Except... This one time you also held a possition ABOVE mine, please make me do the work for it next time, my friend, pretty please - Because THAT type of practice is one i lack the mooooost.

THAT IS WHY i so stupidly spun behind Lozza on first lap - i just don't have 1/20 of formation racing experience like i have for solo runs... I just need that practice. And ALL of you guys in this "Logic's domain" are the best and most patient GT souls i could ever find.

So please, "make" me earn my wings :)👍

Nah, that's just not how I race, I always let by anyone who comes up behind me and is faster during the first 3/4s of the race, whether or not it's for position. After that I race harder, or if I think I'm faster I'll race you. I only have two settings, over-conservative or over-agressive.

i agree 100% with you blue , iff i have understood u right that is , i also will rather let fast ppl by me iff i think that i can only lose time iff i try and hold my position and possible spin/crash because i drive over my safedriving limit that usely keeps me from spin/crash 💡

As far as i can calculate, Mugen motorsports should have 76 point. ?

My championship points situation is not cool right now lol, a lot of ground to cover but it's hard with such though competition at the pointy end of the field :p. A wet Red Bull Ring will require some practice for myself, I guess it's not so bad I'm dropping 5bhp for missing Bathurst

The weather will be all over the place i think, if it does rain it will go from wet to dry to wet very quickly.
A good mate of mine runs a small airline and i get the aviation weather forecast from him, then trick it up just a bit to try to make it exciting.

I tried a run with the settings yesterday. And i could not adjust the time progress or time for race start. But when i tried with 20% at race start. It didnt rain, neither was the track wet.

? time progression stays at x1 for both and race and Q.
Time should be 15.00
Changability is the x11 for Q and x 15 for Race.

To test the weather fully you really need to start and watch a 90 min race with those settings to see what effect it has,
however it almost always behaves differently even on the same settings each time you run it.

I shall be on later.

Are you on now log?

Last place guaranteed for me after a short test yesterday my best was 1:30.4xx

There's safer bet i'll be last, especially if it rains :D

But in my runs so far i didn't get much rain - and that means i'll get soaked on race day :)

Whilst we're on the subject of coming last... I have no time to practice before the race as I'm away all weekend! My first laps will be in qualifying on Monday! So I'll probably be somewhere near last! I haven't driven in the rain on GT6 for a very long time either! It seems like we are all going to lose this race :)

no one today evening practicing?
Yes Kossu, i shall be on for a couple of hours tonight.

I will say i have had no rain as yet either, but its so random, who knows.

Times here seem heavily punished by the bhp penalties, more than any of the much faster tracks with much longer straights we have already raced on.

Although not my race times, me running at 479bhp my best is a mid 1. 26 on new RS with half fuel, but normal mid to low 1.27s, however it seem Sken 107 bhp less is around 1.30s and Srt 63 BHP less is around 1.29 so unfortunately it seems like the championship leaders will struggle badly here, however the bhp handicaps were designed to keep the championship points standings close.

We do have a review of the BHP settings after RBR so we will see how it goes.

My 4th lap 27.xxx
and a couple of questionswe can exchange a pair of race seats? Nurb 24h and suzuka.

And my suggestion would you do all the driving same 480 BHP q Session.
I think it would be fair.

I dont think so Kossu, in my eyes now the track list is made we should stick to it, otheriwse we could start changing all sorts of things.

Again, thats not how the system works, the whole idea is for lesser skilled drivers to get a shot at winning races, and if Q were all 480 bhp then they would always start from the back.
Unfortunately many things in life are not as fair as we would like them Kossu.
I drive as fast as i can and still can be 2 seconds slower than elite guys with 40 bhp less lol, but the handicap system is there for a reason, to try to make the uneven , even.
