It's a real sad issue... :(

I went pcars because it looked like almost all would follow soon, instead I got separated from friends.

I got a game that even with the bugs is so much better in race that is impossible to go back, but lost guys I loved racing with...

These cars on default man are pretty easy to get a hold of :). I know im never in the weekly practices much but you should turn some laps and maybe race in a future series just for fun :).
I haven't tried Pcars with a wheel yet so I really can't say but I don't find it too bad to go from one to the other. Just gotta give it some laps!

I think you'll find everyone will be back together on GT7... No matter the wait lol.

For the race, the track will take around 20 minutes to get 0% however the kerbs and offline will still be quite wet for another 15 minutes after 0%, very triky.

I did turn the wheel again in gt6... But i really feel the difference. Too much of it, really if you'll race on pcars with a wheel for like 4 days you'll find all the physics and racing dull.

I fear that unless GT7 goes the path PCars choice (being a race sim, not a collection of cars and racing mixed in) i'm really unsure if i'll bother to pick it up since here they cost 70euros... >_>

Missing you guys, not the game, to be clear.

Also at the moment i'm racing in my and another tiered serie, so i guess no time to spare for gt6
 
Shame I missed the first 3 rounds this season. Otherwise I reckon I would be fighting for first place on points!

It is a shame people are leaving GT6 for project cars, but I have played project cars and I agree it is better than GT6 in a lot of ways, so I understand why it's happening.

I'd love to join you guys on Pcars, but I'm going to be travelling around the world a lot next year, So buying a new console, game and a wheel isnt really a priority for me at the moment!!

Personally I still love playing GT6, for me it still has a lot to offer. And I definitely enjoy racing with you guys! If you all choose to carry on with GT6 that's great! But if you move on I understand, I would do the same if the circumstances were different :) And I'm sure we will all end up back on the same consoles/game at some point in the future! I'll be getting a ps4 after my travels!

No when you want to write to someone you have to have a " speak" or "writing lobby" open. It's like a chatroom where you can talk and write to each other. It's like having msn or skype open while you play a game.

2 races per night both 40 minutes
cars stock settings - reinforcement and brake balance only allowed -any tyres can be used.
2 groups alternate between bhp settings for race 1 and race 2
Race 1 A class drivers run 375 Bhp B class drivers 330 Bhp
Race 2 A class drivers run 330 Bhp B class drivers 375 Bhp
-2 bhp increment handicap for each position in championship standings in each group each week.
points scored in each race as normal 16 to 1
Race 1 next Monday will be at Brands Hatch Gp Dry
Qualy starts at 18.15 UK as normal Qualy for race 2 in reverse order of race 1 race results
Race 1 starts at 18.50 UK for 40 minutes.
Race 2 starts at 19.45 UK for 40 minutes.
normal rules and regs apply re this series.
Practice in open lobbys and recruit where you can.
I will post new series on this forum later this week.
