but yall know that theres and owl on a tree roughly half way into a lap right...

I think you are referring to the famous monkey that's been there for some time now.

Thats really not intentional.

Its hard to mirror a texture and NOT make face-looking patterns.

In fact mirroring any texture makes us see things in it when they're not there, that the whole basis of Inkblot tests.

My point is, its not an easter egg, which is something intentionally hidden.

Those textures look like they were intentionally diddled with to produce the face(s). Given the other humorous touches on this track, it makes perfect sense.

Did anyone else notice the "lion man" right underneath the triangular nose of the main central face, extending to the bottom of that pic?

Perhaps they are the faces of PD's founders. If you drive into them at high speed you unlock all the cars and tracks from previous GT games, the Bikes from Tourist Trophy, and a HD version of Motortoon!

That mirrored face looks a bit like Spyro the Dragon when he's charging!

oh no... soon there will be some religious types here seeing faces of jesus or something in the rocks on deep forest

I thought Kaz was a serious man but look at these Easter eggs!
Next we will probably find that if you look on the marks on the road from the sky it spells
"Tooth fairy"

Is the god´s of moutains, if you do not rollover on trial moutain with your car, makes an offering to the gods to thank, and they protect you till the next race.;)

To be honest...I've seen such patterns. I've realized a lot of textures are mirrored and repeated on a lot of tracks. Take a pic down the long straight down le sarthe, and zoom all the way in, and look at the skid marks. They're the same all the way down the trakc and mirrored and repeated.

This is common in 3d modeling. I've used it for materials.

Look right above the red circle in Owen's pic and tell me if that isn't a baboon.

Rorschach is rolling in his grave. :D

on Gran Turismo 1, when you drive into the first tunnel on Grand Valley East, the textures look like faces.
