Strange problem with iTunes

I have a problem with my iTunes
I got a whole heap of music today and when I went to put it in, 90% of it went in fine, except for half of this album. 4 songs went on fine, but the rest refuse. I can put other songs in iTunes and it still has all of its other functionality.
I have tried copy/pasting dragging and dropping and importing through iTunes itself. I have all of the songs in Windows Explorer.
Anyone have any suggestions? It just happens to be my favourite album of the ones I just got.

Im just guessing here, but it may be due to copyright laws?

Where did you download the album from? (If you can say) And if it doesn't work still, just buy it from the store.

Stop using iTunes?

Use foobar2000 instead; it is only about a million times better.

Are the songs in a correct format that iTunes will support (MP3, AAC, etc.)?
