Stuck on Races need help

I'm in Expert Series
and cannot beat the following races

Historic level 16, my 700 hp cobra cannot stay on the track

Gran Turismo all Stars: What car should I buy

the Nissan GT-R GT for $950,000 450 hp
or
The Mines Nissan Skyline R34 $200,000 591 hp

I tuned the hell out of my Countach for the Historic race from the suggestions of Morsola(I think that is his name) There is a thread in here that he explains it. Can't find it right now. The Cobra is not nice on fast corners.:scared:

I think I used my Race Modded Vette for the All Stars event. If you get the Nissan GT car, you can also use it for the Super GT series in Extreme.
 
its a historic race car event so you cant use newer cars. I used the ford mach 1 '71 fully tuned.

For GT all stars i used the pagani zonda that you buy from the dealer. Its expensive..but its a fun car.

You can win the Zonda in Bspec.
 
thx for the help everyone...i reached level 21 so im gonna skip these for a while and probably go for the super gt because of what gas junkie said about hte super series :D
 
I'm having the same issue,can't beat the All Stars event, and I'm using the '89 Merecedez Sauber Race Car, but always end up losing control of the car.

I will give a try to the Zonda R see what's up.
