Feel free to discuss the things you've seen, heard, or read from the stupidity that is humanity. Try to stay away from opinions if possible.

I find most stupid things people say come from people with a lack of knowledge on the subject they are discussing.

Unless of course it's something that wasn't on an in depth subject anyways. Like an insult.

Haha.

If I were to actually explain all of the stupid things that have been said to me this thread would be 10000+ characters on one page and I'd probably be banned for foul language.

One thing that still pisses me off to this day is this girl coming up to me during school and saying quiet people make her nervous and that 'quiet people always seem to be planning stuff'. So damn stupid.

 Point in case, a girl in my business class was asked "Where do you think the tablet like the iPad was even derived from". Response - "Well, it probably started with the calculator, which then probably became the type writer, and then evolved to a computer. Then the took away the key board".

Word for word I swear. Half the class literally buried their head into their desk and tried to hold back from laughing.

Massive facepalm

Listen to Belgian politicians and you have all the stupidity one can say.

Here and here you will found pretty much every stupid thing known to man chronicled into a easy to use format.

Rivaled only by Yahoo and Youtube comments.

Funny, those GT5 forums were the first thing that leaped into my mind when I saw the thread title.

Not that stupid, but quite funny. Last year I had an enterprise day. The woman then proceeded to talk of 'Jason Button', and she couldn't stop talking about him all day. I just had to correct her in the end. But for real stupidity, some kids in my class cannot be beaten - one of them thought China was a continent:banghead:

Well I understand what you mean, I also see someone swaggering about a subject they persist to be well-informed at, and speak loftily in front of somebody else like he knows everything about it - whereas seen just behaving as a stuck-up from genuine experts on the matter, who don't generally put themselves on airs for their knowledge. :indiff:

Maynard Wilkens who is the Mayor of DeQuincy spoke to CNN about the ban on twerking that takes effect at midnight. “Twerking is a defiant act against Jesus and his teachings. The rest of the country can keep their heads in the sand about this sexual act before marriage, but not the great city of DeQuincy,” Wilkens said. “We will still allow dancing in DeQuincy, just no jigglin’, shakin’ and ‘dry humping’ anywhere in our city limits.” Bobby Joe Williams who is the sheriff in the town told reporters about the penalties for those caught twerking. “First time offenders will receive a mandatory 30 days in the county jail. After that it will be a much harsher punishment,” Williams said. “We are not taking this matter lightly. There ain’t gonna be no twerkin’ in my city, not no more.”

Hummm, another great way of forcing religion on to people. Just what this country needs.

My ex-wife used to say "count your lucky chickens" when she meant "count your lucky stars" and didn't understand what was wrong with it. Trouble is, because it was funny, I started to parody it and now say it in conversations with people who aren't in on the joke.

So I guess I'm now the one saying stupid things... :indiff:

And the first time it goes to court, at least fourteen pro bono lawyers will take this all the way to Louisiana's highest court, which is located inside the I-10 Welcome Center. The law will be overturned and struck down as frivolous, and everyone involved in the passage of the legislation will be forced to consume at least two dacquaris from a drive-through shop as punishment, followed by a couple of Hail Marys at the Huey B. Long statue. In any case, no twerking at our livestock auctions, no way, no how.

I figure as long as we're setting up a bunch of straw man arguments, I might as well have some fun.

Now if she had only said 'abacus' to begin with . . . I might have even got her number.

Seriously though, it's Dick Tracy that's responsible for all this tecno-crap.

Oooops. Now I said something stupid. Move over, axletramp.

Sift through all my #8453 and you'll find a lot of stupid things I said (posted) during my nine year membership.

:dopey:

Aren't politicians specialists in their fields? That's why we hire them, right?

I'll be over here in the corner. :dunce:

As if you'd stay there for long.

There's way too much silliness and laughter at this site. Please get back to your regular scheduled bitchin' 'n' whinin'.

Thanks.
