Well, I've gone back to post in posts that haven't been responded to in like 2 weekss, but they're not "dead". And then other people start posting in them again, soooo......
I don't mind if people bring back posts from like the beginning of GTP... it's quite interesting to see some of our current "high-performers" as n00bs...
Again, just use the "Report" button... I've done it before, and it effectively closed down the thread within 10 seconds.
