here's a few pictures of the way we tune and style our cars here in finland... the cars and the styles are very different in my opinion
but watch and learn? :D tell my what you think...

..well there's a few cars.. i think you'll have some clue by now about the way we do it here in finland ;)
 
so you see, no skylines, no supras, no mazda rx-7s and so on...
skyline is an illegal car here, there is two stock twinturbo supras here in finland, and i guess a couple on rx-7s too but no tuned ones... mitsubishi evo 8 is the first streetlegal evo here.

the laws on cars are just ricilous here.
if i wanted to import a car from germany or sweden.
let's say a BMW e36 325i coupe.. the price in germany is somewhere around 4000-8000€ (and with that price you can get a car with a really good condition) but if i drive it or ship it to finland.. i'm going to have to pay taxes in order to get finnish licenceplates on my car.. and the taxes could be as high as 10000€!! :mad:

germany is the dreamland for car-lovers.. autobahns and cheap but good cars...
finland sux, i wanna get out of here... maybe to germany, or to the states, my aunt lives there :)

why are these nice cars illegal (skyline, evo, rx7 etc)??
 
i'm not 100% sure why the skyline is an illegal car... i think it has got something to do with the finnish pollution regulations or some ****.. i think it's illegal just here in finland coz i've seen many brittish and swedish skylines. you still can drive a skyline in finland, but you can't have one in finnish licenceplates and that makes it a illegal car in a way... same goes to the evos, mitsubishi has paid for some standard EU pollution tests and the results satisfied us finns, and i guess they decided that you can own a street-evo in finland now..
rx-7s and supras aren't illegal, the pricetag on one of those is just astronomical :rolleyes:

like i said, it's compilated why i can't own a skyline or evo 6 in here...

BUT.. there are those who buy a skyline and try to get finnish plates but fail.. and i can own a evo 1-7 but they are good only for rallyes
