Suggestions for Ring' 24 hr enduro.

201 laps of fun... great car for this race though.
even though the oil and chassis was totally fried it would still do sub 7-min with ease.
hell, i set my fastest lap after the 12 hour mark with > 1000 miles of wear and tear.

not much of a challenge though... not sure of the aspec points, think it was 140-ish. (R1 tires, no rollcage, clean oil at start)
i ended up beating the skyline by > 10 laps.
IIRC he does 7'20's and pits every 4 laps.
 
Ouch 10 LAPs. Well my comp. is gonna be:
-Both Audi DTM cars
-One JGTC car
-Alfa Romeo race car
-Chapparal, however you call it, 2D
-AND teh M3 GTR Race Car.


BTW, in Race reports i'm doing this Track time attack starting this weekend. It's a lap battle to see who'll get the nod to race in the 24 hours in the ring'

Here it goes:
2 laps each track. A/B spec. One lap each. Best overall car wins, (doesnt go by the time)

-Amuse S2000 GT1
-320i Touring car
-Subaru Impreza Rally car
-RX-8 Lm car
-FTO LM car
-Calibra Touring car
-Altezza touring car

Any other cars suggested?

Infineon
Suzuka
Super Speedway

AND last of all The Ring'

Cant wait deadline for race is the 27th.
 
i used the M3 GTR, too easy. Am going to try it with a stock road car (chassis upgrade of course), and see how i do. Coming up....
 
Well, I managed a 7'35.xxx in a full tuned Avantime, but that was with a spin at Flugplatz. (Don't ask, dodgy suspension set-up + catching air = lose)
I think with a clean lap I might be able to keep up. :D
 
BTW, do the opponents really do bad because of strategy in the later hours?
 
with the field you're racing it probably won't be a problem.
the Calibra was pitting every 5 (same as me) when i ran it.
Course, if you find yourself on a different pit strategy, just switch to softer rubber.

Oh, and i've heard the Amuse S2000 R1 is fun and competitive.
 
The Amuse is one of the favs to win my honor in being my car to race in the enduro :)
