I just wanted to know if they are considered JGTC cars? I was looking through my GT3 guide, and picking out the JGTCs and I couldnt decide on either of them.

Yea they are JGTC but the yare different from the Supras, NSX, Skylines because in JGTC theres 2 classes:

JGTC-300 class

JGTC-500 class

Aaaand the Spoon S2000 Race Car is another GT-300 class car.

And if you can get it, the Nomad Diablo JGTC is a GT-500 car.

We ran these two side-by-side for a comp once at GV and they are EXTREMELY close,. though the SuperAutoBACS wins out....

Both of the cars are JGTC cars. In fact the MR-S won the GT300 class just last year in JGTC. I haven't used both of the cars enough to know which one I prefer. But I like the looks of the MR-S better.

You have to have a GameShark or Sharkport and the NTSC version. Can't you normally get it in the Japanese version and taken out of the American and European ones? . . . . . . I'm not going to comment on anything else about that though.

Why don't you have a look at the JGTC official website. The Japanese version is much better than the English version and really easy to navigate.

You will be able to see some of the cars that could make it into GT4. Such as the Wedsport/Bandoh Celica (below)

I would like to go to the JGTC site (been there before, don't remember the site though), but I can't read Japanese. If I remember correctly, the English site isn't anything too great.

Nice Nomad Diablo pic. How can it hold up against the cars in the Professional World Championship race? I like using a stock GT One Road Car with T-3's with this race and I always win. What is the HP on this puppy?

I think it should be about 500 bhp stock, but I think it goes up to something like 700-900 bhp with all the parts on it.

The JGTC-300 cars are great for Arcade Mode if you want to get through it really quick, because it puts you up against some really crappy cars.

I use the Arta NSX for Area A, the C-West Silvia for Area B, then the AutoBox MR-S for all the other areas. The only other good cars you face are another MR-S and Silvia ... the rest of the cars it puts you up against are a bunch of rally cars.

Dammit I need to get a good job so I can visit Japan a couple times a year. I'd love to go to some of the JGTC events.

The sad thing is that 50 years ago NASCAR was cool cars like JGTC, but now they all drive the same car with slightly different fiberglas around it. Of course, even with cool cars NASCAR would still be a lame-ass circuit with only 2 road races.

I think Americans need to get together and phone in bomb threats at every NASCAR event until the league falls apart. Aren't there enough rodeos for these bastards to watch? I'm lucky if there's an F1 race on ESPN2 at 5:00am.

I live in HK and ESPN show quite a lot of motorsport here...

JGTC (although maybe not anymore), Asian Touring Car, Indy 500 (live), F1 (live), Moto GP (live) etc. Guess I'm quite lucky, unless one day all this goes pay-per-view

Good thing there on at 5:00am to, that way they don't interupt my weekly NASCAR, that is inbetween rodeos and all, and the KKK meetings on thursday nights.

Yours are on Thursdays? Mine are usually on Tuesday's as it conflicts with my bowling teams schedule on Thursday. Rodeo on Friday and Saturday night leaving Sunday open for NASCAR. Then Monday and wednesday I have to work on my cars

Back on topic, I think the MR-s is a bit better bahaved based on teh MR configuration. Also the Nomad Diablo in GT3 comes in at about 600hp.

I don't have anything against rednecks. I've got a cousin in the rodeo, and I like bowling. I just hate NASCAR and all the Dale Ernhardt disciples that fill the Midwest.

Imagine if GT3 was turned into a NASCAR game. No upgrades because everybody drives the same car. 10 tracks, but 9 of them are ovals. Every prize car is a pickup.
