Got all cars...bar the insanely expensive F50 GT.

The price on the F50 is wrong, it will be fixed in the patch so don't waste your time trying to earn the cash for it until after the patch.

"The patch being put together at the moment will address mainly bugs rather than adding enhancements to the game:

The starting point of the 430 Scuderia in the Invitational race has been moved which means the car now behaves properly at the beginning of the race.
Each Invitational race now uses a scripted difficulty value rather then a dynamic one which makes it more progressive.
Fixed the incorrect configuration of the Thrustmaster 3-in-1 wheel when using either manual or semi-automatic gears.
Fixed the livery disappearing if applied to a newly purchased car without leaving the showroom
Fixed loading more than one saved livery without leaving the showroom cause the ivery to become corrupt.
Price of the F50 GT corrected.
Increased the maximum allowed scale on some vinyl groups.
512m fixed.

This may make the patch although it is subject to testing:

Allow the host to change the car in the lobby.

Nothing in the patch should affect your save game so you won't lose any progress etc."

Good news about the patch. Really hope the option for the host to change car is included.

I bet the F50 GT is 140,000CR. Too many zero's eh!

I can't get the Shopaholic - spend 100.000 credits trophy. I've bought many cars including the 333 for 100.000 worth, but the game keeps telling me 18.000(!) credits spend. :nervous:
Anyone had that yet, another bug or am I missing something ?

I purchased the Veyron (140k from memory) and did not get the trophy either :dunce:

Great news about the patch :-) I hope they bring back the look left/right options for the red buttons on G25 from FC. Shame that option was overlooked! I think the new "over the wheel" driver's view is awesome but would really benefit from left/right panning. Think I might e.mail them for that feature, you never know ;-)

I deleted my gamesave and started from scratch, sold a few cars, bought some new, raced some races and spent more money, but it won't count it still says 0 credits spent :ouch:

That's really frustrating ... couldn't someone upload a working gamesave with around 100.000 credit or more? Please, I know might won't help, but I'm desperate getting this trophy.

Would someone else please buy the Corvette and tell me if i am really the only one that thinks that the Vette is fantastic to drive.

Loved the DBR9 in the Beta, but the Vette is even much more fun to drive. Or are you all only playing the Beta?
I have just tried the Corvette around Riviera and I can also confirm it's wonderful to drive.

Hmmm.. Im just going to have to take it out tonight then... That Riviera circuit is great by the way... they should make the real Monaco circuit like this...

Finally!!!!

At riviera you really need a very neutral and "well-tempered" car. And that´s the vette! Love to drive this car on this track. Didn´t like the idea of having "phantasy"-tracks in SCC, but i must confirm that riviera is much more interesting than monaco! Especially the braking from the very fast part into the slower right-handers is a challenge.

Some of the "not-so-powerful" cars in FC and SCC had a nice handling like the Corvette, but noone of the other "big-bangers" (with more than 600 hp) behaves as good as the vette.

It's much more in-line with the grippy DBR9 but is slightly less powerful. The front end comes around really nicely though...not as sudden as the DBR9.

Below are details of what will be in Patch V1.1

Bugs Fixed:

The starting point of the 430 Scuderia in the Invitational race has been moved which means the car now behaves properly at the beginning of the race.
Each Invitational race now uses a scripted difficulty value rather then a dynamic one which makes it more progressive.
Incorrect configuration of the Thrustmaster 3-in-1 wheel when using either manual or semi-automatic gears.
Livery disappearing if applied to a newly purchased car without leaving the showroom.
Loading more than one saved livery without leaving the showroom caused the livery to become corrupt.
Price of the F50 GT corrected to 140K.
Increased the maximum allowed scale on some vinyl groups.
512m renders correctly.
Gear indicator freezing on the interior view.
Racing line changing in an Invitational race when the TC setting was adjusted.
Speedo being frozen sometimes.
A.I. driving off the track at the start of the race.
Stage 1 Objective, "Finish a lap in 5th place or above without losing position".
Stage 5 Invitational, 550GT Challenge start point amended.
Trophies where damage on the results screen is shown as zero and not awarded.
Shopaholic trophy.
Mont Tremblant turn 8 leaves moved.

This may make the patch although it is subject to testing:

Allow the host to change the car in the lobby.

We do not have a release date for the patch yet and are still adding fixes as and when they are reported. This post will reflect any further updates.

Looks promising.. :) Honestly this type of stuff shouldve been fixed before release... but better late then never 👍

Yepp, this was already an issue in Ferrari Challenge. Never before saw such an "unfinished" game in the stores. But they eliminated most of the bugs mentioned by the community in the 2-3 months after release with 3 Patches. That´s OK for me! Actually they should deliver a perfect game from the start, but at least they listen to the community.

And they did not only fix bugs but also considered and developed some improvement-ideas of the community after the release. There are not many devs acting that way and caring so much for the voice of the fan-community!

This is very true, I agree 100% The fact they listen is what gives me hope for this game... And seeing them busy like this is a real plus!

Just wondering how do you unlock the remaining cars after you finish with challenge mode?

I just got the platinum for this but glad to say there is still heaps left for me to play in the game.

Fairly easy trophy.

1. Get a car like the Ferrari enzo for example.
2. Do a race and make sure during the race you scrape both the left and right hand side along a wall at one point or another. Your mirrors will break off.
3. Win the race (or finish it, i cant remember).

You should then get the trophy.

Thanks J-PaP, one more trophy. I've never thought about destroying the mirrors. 👍 And at the end, i had to win the race, that was the easiest thing but the mirrors... :-)

Euh... and what about the trophy "9 lifes" ? During a race, i tried to bump in 9 cars trying to destroy their cars but... nothing. Don't know about the mode to choose and how to have this trophy ?

If someone can help ? Thanks. ;)

9 Lives is about getting a lot of damage on YOUR car & still finishing the race.
I think I had around 81% damage on my car & got the trophy.

Easiest way to do this:

Go race redwood park I think it is. During qualifying go full pelt into a wall. You will then retire from qualifying. Then the race will start. get to the lead and feel free to bump a few walls/cars on the way till you reach 80%. Try keep it below 90%. Then just finish or win the race (again can't remmeber)

Well going over 90% will get you the crash test dummy trophy!

Yes !! New Trophy, easy but a new one ! Thanks ! :)

And a new bug : impossible to have the objectives trophy on level 4 (race with 3 different cars). These bug is following the two problemn with objectives trophy on level 2 (no damage in a tournament) and on level 3 (race with F430, impossible to complete). Hope objectives trophy on level 5 will be ok and the objective of more than 32.000 points. But i had no problems with the objectives on level 1.

Could anyone confirm me these problems/bugs or is it me.. the problem ;-)) ?

Can't wait for the patch ! :)

And another question... 1.000.000 credits is a long, long way to go so which race is the better way to win more money ? Has anyone an idea about that ? Thanks ! ;)

So after 2 weeks playing (totaly play time 8 hours) I love that game! I love the physics! I love it when you brake in before a corner and the car gets out of control and the rear begins to move left and right... I love the under and oversteer... it all feels right...

But whats bugging me is that the car setup is to complicated.I thought they will fix that. Let´s hope they fix it with the patch 1.2

What I mean is,if you want to change your car setup you got to exit all the game and go back to the starting screen and then to the garage... change yout setup and start a new race... and if the setup is not good then you got to exit all again to the starting screen...

Ok, no bug for the objectives trophy on level 5, and trophy over 32.000 points is ok too.

So waiting for the objectives trophy on level 2, 3, 4 and the shopaholic !

What about the last race (gold trophy) ? Did anyone test it ? 👍

Just for the record, I tried a few new cars last night and I'm thrilled to say that the 550M no longer feels like a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood. It's much, MUCH better than the rendition of this car in Ferrari Challenge. Completely transformed.

I have (re)installed the beta test version last night and played for a couple of hours on spa with the available cars (DBR9, Enzo, Mclaren). The game is nice and addictive to drive and puts you frenetically trying to improve your lap time - did 2:30 on spa with the DBR9 by the way (I know... I suck.)

Two things are bugging me however:

In all cars seems that the majority of curves can only be made extremely slow and in 2nd gear (except for the fast ones at the beginning of the track and the "bus stop" chicane and the hairpin before the main straight, only driveable in 1st gear). It seems like the wheel (in the game) wouldn't turn more than 30/45 degrees if you don't do it. Same's happening with full version or is a "lite" version thing?

The McLaren F1 seems like's needing a visit to the mechanics for wheel alignement! That this is alway skidding to the left! You make a slow right turn, there he goes slidding towards the outside of the curve, even at very slow speed... step on gas in a straight... got to keep making small corrections to the right, for compensating the slidding to the left. Does this happens with you guys?
