wow all the lookie loos and no answers huh? its amazing how you can come to a site looking for answers and the ppl on here act like its supposed to be the only game you are supposed to play. To me its just a race game but i like to win and i was just wondering how to tune a better car. I guess all the ppl that have looked so far are useless and knew they had nothing to contribute. Are there any REAL people out there who dont have their head up their butt about a video game and can tell me a good way to tune my car?
Comments like the bit I've underlined and bolded aren't going to get us to come rushing to your rescue any quicker. Most of us have moved on from GT4 onto GT5 and are currently working on things there. If you want, check out the garages here (MFT, RRV, GME, etc.) and look because most of us have an Evo tune of one form or another.
Why does it have to be the Super Rally Evo '03?? That car is an absolute 🤬 bucket of 🤬 compared to a worked Evo 8 MR with dirt tyres.
Hi, start here for the theory of tuning: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=104034#post2960296Does anyone here have a good beastly engine/suspension tune for the evo super rally car?
I too highly recommend the MFT Evo that nomis put the link to. Marvellous tune they performed on that one. 👍 It will show you a new level of performance.
As for me, I AM a gamer and a car nut. This whole series has been the perfect merging of the two worlds for me, period. I haven't got my head up my ass either but I'll just list for you some of the things I've done over the years with this game.
My GT4 resume:
- #4 in the world on the Las Vegas 400m strip (7.199) .
- #2 with a road car (7.313), and held the world record for the road car category for just off 2 years with a 7.325.
- Former FF drag record holder.
- 1st person in the world to achieve 400km/h in a FF car.
- Current FF Speed Record holder.
- One of the Big 5 of GT4 Tuning. Here's my garage - Grease Monkey Engineering!!
So, I'm pretty certified in what I know about tuning for both low and high speeds and handling too. I've tried both cars, and the MR will DECIMATE the Super Evo, and the RS for that matter. Around a circuit and on dirt it's unbeatable when tuned correctly.
Also, while this site is about Gran Turismo, we aren't so narrow minded to just talk about Gran Turismo all day, otherwise this site would just suck.Explore the site, look at the other sections from automotive, to computing, to Fitness, to TV, to current events, even a section for Forza enthusiasts such as yourself and a general off-topic(ish) section. And that's without getting into The Infield.

^ why dont you try tuning it yourself. Ive got tunes in my garage on here that I need updated as I have found some slightly better settings on a couple of them.
