Super Realistic Racing Series

Would anybody be interested in a "super realistic" racing series? The aim of the series is to play GT5 in its most "realistic" setting (sounds corny, I know).

This means:
- full damage
- CS tires or lower ONLY
- slipstream on weak
- tire wear and fuel consumption ON

As an added twist, the series will only be open to wheel users. Furthermore, your wheel must correspond to the transmission of the car you're driving. For instance, if you want to drive a manual car, your wheel MUST have an H-shifter and clutch pedal. On the other hand, if you want to drive a non-manual car, you can use whatever wheel you choose. If there is a lack of players, I will open it up to ALL players.

The point of this is to not only provide realistic racing, but to give those using the H-shifter and clutch pedal a more fair competition, as GT5's shifting with the H-shifter is a bit wonky.

In terms of the cars we use, I'm open, though I am currently opting for completely stock Premium cars. I am open to other's opinions.

Tracks will be real life circuits only.

The series will take place from December 22 to January 5, a span of two weeks. This series is not so much a championship, but more an open type of series where you can choose when you want to race. For instance, on one day, there might be a race that takes place on the Nurburgring. In a sense, I am hoping to have an iRacing style type of calendar, where a new race takes place every x hours. The goal of this is to provide racing when you want it, rather than to race to be the ultimate winner. I will provide more information if people want to participate.

Sounds like fun, but the time zone will e an issue :(
Regarding time, this still has not been decided yet. Obviously, I want to choose a time where most players are available. And again, being a iRacing type of series, there's no fixed time where you must must come and race.
but how about ABS and TC? modern cars have both but not as much as in GT5
So ABS at 1 and TC a 2 or something?
I'll keep ABS on, as I don't want to alienate too many racers, but I will ban it in cars that don't have ABS IRL. Same goes for ASM and TCS.
