Ok, this is taken from the September 2003 issue of Super Street magazine
SS: "Many of the JGTC drivers we speak to- Keiichi Tsuchiya, Manabu Orido, Nombuteru "No One Better" Tanaguchi - say as much as they drive JGTC, the love drifting. So we're wondering, will we see any D1 Grand-Prix-type events at circuits like Bikoku Highland?"
Kazuni Yamauchi: "Because we are continually seeking the real feel of the car, the physics engine has improved significantly. This will allow for the car to act more naturally, thus you can drift more accurately in the game. Previously, we provided drift tires, drift mode-stuff like that. However, I'm comfortable saying that drifting will be more real in GT4 than it has been in the past. With that said, I am considering a variety of game modes, some of which I cannot share. One significant one - probably the one you are most concerned about - is we will include a "Drift Contest" in the game. We may not name it "D1," however we hope to prodvide that kind of experience for you."
(KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
KY: "In the past editions of the GT franchise you've probably noticed we've had cars from Spoon, HKS, and Mine's. Those are actual tuning shop demo cars. We hope to include a wider range of those in the game. Also, we'd like to widen the range in terms of tuner cars for consumers to mess around with."
Man, that will kick so much ass, not only to have a drift contest, but more tuning cars. I PRAY that some of the shop demo cars may include the HKS Track Attack Altezza, and the twin Fujimura Auto Salon Skyline GT-R-34's. And I hope Tskuba Circuit will be in the game as well.
