SUPER TAIKYU S8-2006 Round 1 - HI LAND

Welcome to Sendai, Japan for round one of Japan's exciting SUPER TAIKYU N1 championship Season 8. It's been a good few seasons since HI-Land has been seen as the series opener, and what better time than now. A growing field is ready to do battle with new and old names alike, all shooting for one common goal, the win!

Sendai Hi-Land is not only home to the race track, but also is the site of a beautiful resort and amusement park, providing plenty of fun and leisure for anyone in attendance.

Qualifications are due on 27th August, and race times are due on the 29th. If there are any doubts you will make it, or know you will need an extension, please let me know so we can straighten it out.

RULES
Standard rules apply, no cutting, no wall riding, etc.

SUBMISSION
To submit lap times, send in Private message to myself. Qualifications are run in Simulation Mode - Time Attack, Races are run in Simulation Mode - Track Meet. DO the required number of laps, save your replay, as total time and best lap will appear.

EDIT: I've discovered my DFP is busted and I'm trying to get in touch with my Dad (he's at work.) In an attempt to get a knew one. Not sure if this will keep me out of round 1, as I'm sure I can at least run with the DS2 if I can't get that new wheel.
 
Good to see this sucka's up and running. I'm a bit disappointed about no tyre wear (especially given the true to life nature of the cars and regulations) but i guess you can't have everything.

Also, the date's for the time submittals; these are the deadlines right? So we can submit sooner if we want?
 
My Final Qualification times have been sent

i know its early but i just spent the last 5 hours testing my RX-7 and S2000..
im confiident that my times are good...like 98% full confident...
the other 2%? well thats more partial confidence than un-sure-ity...lol


ahh and whens the next pre-race trials? I was too late for Grand Valley...so i want to know where and when the next one's gonna be!!
 
Hold on just a minute. We could have test sessions if changes are made to the regulations of particular classes.

About tires, we can only use R3/R4 right?
If thats so I will have a time by tomorrow:).

I really need to try this race out, all day I have been working on stuff for GT2
so I have not had a chance to drive my Celica:(.
 
Good luck to everyone, may the best drivers win their class :) sent qualification times... Just sent the race times, but my ST5 race was a little rough :dopey: --- Randy
 
I have my qualifier time ready, tomorrow I will try to get the race done.
I do have to say that it did'nt take long to find my max in this car:).
 
From the times i've receieved so far, just let me say one thing. This is gonna be a close one. :)
 
maybe you should send some private messages to the drivers that haven't posted times yet as a friendly reminder
