That's just you getting used to the car. That's why before any real race team starts or gets a new driver they test and test and test.

I went to motorland and my RX-8 is going to be pretty quick anywhere I go so that's good... I don't think the carbon driveshaft made that much of a difference... well don't worry I have a ST1 secret project that I'm working on for next year ;) But.. I won't tell anyone!! Just do your 15 laps in Race Meeeting mode then just after you've started your 16th lap exit the session and save the replay. It will save your total time for the 15 laps you have completed.

Since you havent been updating the first page, i must ask, did you get my time submission?

It's ok, saving your replay was a good thing. All you need to do is look
at your total time for that replay and that is your total time.

EDIT: I was just on the ST website and at the real round one the Advan Denag GT3 won pole as well! Haha, crazy...

How long untill the results. I don't mean to be a bother but I have to get up early and therefore should get to bed soon.

To answer your question. I don't know. You may as well go to bed and wait 'till tommorow for the results.

guys i cant submit my times tonight.... i lost my memory card.....i'll keep you posted until i find it but dont take me off the racers list...srry

Here are the times...i'm rather disappointed as far as how spread out they are. I thought it was going to be a little more promising from what the testing showed us. Hopefully it doesn't turn anyone off to the series, if so, i'm sorry, but we are doing our best.

I don't have the most time to do a cool write up and pretty results like i usually do, but I'll work on it when I have more time and am a little less stressed. A lot going on in my life.

Winners are highlighted for each class, congrats to everyone, and i'd like to thank the many of you who took time to submit.

I sure as heck can't be mad! The Calli/'Vette actually won! And a second place in ST2 was, despite my qualifying effort, quite a surprise. A great way to welcome myself into the series. Congrats to: H.Hirao on the win in ST2, slikaznracer on the double win (in ST3 and ST5), and Cristiano in ST4.

The changes that have been made to the cars for round two should do a lot in equalizing the grid. More changes are currently being developed and tested by the Super Taikyu Technical staff. Make sure that your tire selections are appropriate for the session and track conditions. Believe it or not, going to a harder compound may help handling (as I learned in a discussion with GN+ regarding the races.)

Some changes to the tire rules may be put in place but series officials and series technical staff have agreed that a few rounds need to be completed before changes are made.

REMEMBER: For most of us, this is our first Super Taikyu experience. For all of us, this is the first time we've seen Super Taikyu run in GT4's GT Mode format. Give the tech staff and most importantly GN+ a break as the kinks are worked out. By the end of the season we should have run a number of very, very close races throughout all classes.

I'd also like to remind you... if you want to win every race, just play single player. If you want to race real humans, cheap and fun... get in your Taikyu car and start practicing!

EDIT: Just as in real life. In Super Taikyu Season 8 it is imparative you test, test, test! Development of base set-up and the like is imparative. Think investing in that Turbo may have been stupid? Swap it out for the port ploish and engine chip. Think a racing intercooler would benefit more than a sports intercooler? Test, test, test! In order to find the optimal spec for your car, you must go beyond your current set-up and try to find the combination of performance parts that gets you as light, powerful and easy to drive as possible. Within class rules of course! :sly: ;)
 
Last place in ST4... :( Looks like I need to spend more time on this than I had first thought. :sly:

Just a good run basically for the Impreza, but dang the S2000s are tough to beat... but my RX-8 felt really good, and I think it can get going and get the job done... but we will see eventually ;) --- Randy
 
I got 2nd again and not by much:), not to bad. As for testing I think I will go drive some more
when i'm done on GTP. As for the setup on my car I think it's good the way it is.
Well I can't wait for the next race so I can start testing:D. And good job GN+👍.
