I have a room at Spa right now. Join in.

Anyone have a practice room for the Ferrari up?

Wow looks great. Nice lap too. Couldn't make it this afternoon can't wait for the DLC

Standings have been updated. Looks like we have quite the battle for the championship...

Yea good race last night although we had some bad lag. I don't know if it's just that track with alot of cars on it or what. The lag was weird it came in waves usually when I was braking or going into a corner. Anyways congrats to JT for two in a row!

I didn't experience real bad lag, but I did notice some frame rate drop at times. It makes me worry a little about JT's series, if we have full fields of 16. It did seem like a very clean race tho, at least from my perspective, way in the back. By the way, nice job Mattics, for running the old dastard down!:) I bet the fast kids will be putting in some practice laps for the final. Those standings at the top are silly close!

Thanks guys.

I noticed the frame rate issue, making it seem like I was going slow, my speedometer was fine. The only small amount of lag I noticed was when I was right next to Roadrash. His car seemed to scoot forward and backwards a small amount. More than once on different occasions, other than last nights race, the track surface disappeared. I'm thinking this particular track is not capable of adjusting for close racing and driver count.

I also noticed a frame rate issue. It seemed as if the background would blur and move in slo mo. It seemed to get better as the race went on for me and I did not notice anybody glitching. Overall I had a great time

Maybe I was having some issues with my provider. I was getting a bit frustrated but I though it was just me. Had a little issue earlier in the evening before the race with being light headed (almost took a header in the food store). I do think that track has more lag issues than others do to it's size and lay out

I had a great time ,That was a very close race . And the quote was " that dastardly Logan " that could mean many things but in your case all i ment was sneaky .:sly:

Sneaky. I like that! It still amazes me how much fun I can have fighting for 9th or 10th or whatever in this group. I do have to admit its a bit more fun running someone else down, as opposed to being run down. When someone's gaining on me, I glance at the map way too often. And ,man, do I feel dumb banging a wall, while glancing at the damn map.:dunce:

I have to say I'm looking out the windshield only about 50% of the race. Mostly in turns of course. Even on my way out of a turn I'm looking at the RPM's for shift points, then to the mirror, then to the map, then to the position list, then to times, then to split times then back to the mirror and so on. Not to mention using the left and right views to look at the cars next to me. What a mess. I need a drink after just thinking about it.

Nice pics DJ. Great job JT. Still haven't watched the replay yet but I'm glad that race is behind us!

I'll second the nice pics kudo's
and yes DJ I will inspire to do better the next race....
If I took better care of my tires in the first stint I might have been able to get away with only on pit stop instead of two!
i'll get you next time DJ next time...:trouble:

Thanks Rash, I had a great time in that race but I'm happy to leave rome for a bit.

@Scorpion, thanks for the kudos! It might not be to hard for you to get me next week...i'm running 1:46's and I'm pretty sure everybody else is running 1:44's

I'm in a GT500 room at Spa. Follow me in.

Nice pics, DJ. Beautiful cars on a good looking track. I don't think I see 1: 44"s in my future.

I figured a few things out last night practicing with cB and Bo. It's really easy to over drive this car going into the corners. Brake early and roll it through the apex. I was able to shave off over a second by stiffening my roll bars and going slower into the turnsq

Well thanks a lot. Your going to ruin my week.

So Scorpion, did you watch the replay, lap 27, when you turned into me causing yourself to bounce off the wall which I guess caused you to call me a jerk? Funny.

Ah no pressure.......you only need to come in 1st next week and Dangit finish worse than 3rd to claim the top prize:)

I was really struggling with this car last night when you and I were practicing, a good second behind you. I found out the same thing you did, you have to drive this car like the heavy slug that it is, not like a race car. I've found almost 2 seconds today by just driving differently. 💡 I just need to tweak my setup and get the gearing right and I'll be as ready as I can....... now, on to practicing for Monaco :D
