This car is a hoot on Deep Forest! An Elise is great here as well.

Are we gonna consider all concrete be track surface or have a 2 tires on a curb rule of thumb? You know that big concrete patch before heading into the tight right hander on the first sector, sure is ez to get unbalanced there.

I thought about that while practicing today. We usually abide by the 2 tires on the track rule but I know a LOT of people like to cut across the concrete pad to get a better angle on the following turn.

What say you guys?

BTW: I've hit a low 22 but mostly in the 23-24 range.

I say make concrete legal, I'm sure in the heat of racing I might be up there anyway. I've been at 1:24s-1:25s, once in awhile I crack 1:23.

I never used to cut there until I started racing online. Now I'm lazy and just go straight out of habit. Doesn't matter to me but I'm sure during the race when my tires start to go, i'll be lookin for the safe line.

Did I miss something? I'm struggling at this track can't find speed or any consistency.

Ok I feel like an idiot... I had my wing areo turned all the way down. As for the concrete patch, it's inevitable that people are going to go out there if they mean to or not. So I say we just think of it as part of the track.

I think making the concrete legal makes the most sense.

Hey, way to go Boshuter!!!!!!!

The people have spoken! Concrete patch is legal!

FYI: I've posted the date for race 2. It's another Thursday event. Sorry guys I got to work friday night.

Thursday works better for me.

Friday is fun night for me too.

To everyone in DJ's crew.

I will be posting my GT500/GT300 league thread here on GTP later in the week. I have pre-filled your names into slots with the hope that all of you will race, I'd like to run with this fun bunch as much as possible.

Please do not take offense as you are listed in either slot as your user ID's came to mind. Please feel free to switch with each other and swap classes if you wish.

Thanks in advance.
And thanks DJ for the quick piggy-back hijack in the thread.

How long are these races?

Yea no kidding. My back was sore the next day from turning the wheel so much

I told my wife Saturday how tiring GT5 can be. She finally stopped laughing today.

Roadrash is correct. We aim for a 45 minute race and hope that pit strategy comes into play.

I'm thinking about 35+1 laps.

What do you guys think?

Any chance we can change the track for next weeks Corvette RM race. Just a little(alot) burned out on Nurb GT after last weeks marathon.

Any suggestions?

Daytona Road Course gets my vote.

Question; driving aids or not?

I don't know about the tuning allowed, but what mods are we allowed for the RX7, 430Scud/ ROAD CARS in general? Is it open so as long as we meet hp/weight?

Any mods are allowed as long as you meet the the hp/weight. Also you need to send me a friend request, we run our races in my lounge.

Thursday is race day.
