Well maybe the Spec II October update might include.

I was hoping to go for the lead, but unfortunately I tried not to pass before the start/finish line. But when GO! was said that rule went out the window for the people behind me. So I think the rule needs tinkering or better enforcement. After that I get bumped to the guardrail on the right and sent back to 10th from 4th. Normally I don't complain, but that was some BS! I don't know who it was, but unfortunately I get the wrong end of the deal, yet you still got passed by me. BTW is the ZR1 or the Z06 faster?

I just watched the replay. There was no infraction at the start. It looked like you checked up and went to the outside of Bo as you did the cars behind you passed but it was after the start/finish. As far as getting bumped into the guard rail. It looks like you went wide to the right caught some of the outside of the track and got loose as you re entered the racing line cB was on the inside and you guys bumped sending you back outside and toward the wall. cB is one of the cleanest racers in our league so trust me it wasn't intentional.

No start infraction by anyone. Everyone was in line while crossing the start line except for freshseth, but he did a good job of staying behind bo right before the line. Looks like it was just a brake check issue. No foul.

It seems to me freshseth drove on the grass and then there was a bump when he came back on. No intention. Just an accident.

I don't see any BS here. Looks like you screwed up, cut back into somones line who was clearly trying to avoid you, then got punted.

Yeah i watched the replay and it looks different from what i felt. I got the grass cus i go wide for a better angle into the back 'straight' before the tunnel. I just didn't realise cB was there. In the end I gave him 4th from what i thought was a deep dive into turn 1 on lap 30. I was really held up by the guy in red though. He was lagging something terrible.

Sooooo.......2nd place finish in the pits huh? Hilarious. In reverse. Ha.

Always enjoy your use of photos to prove a point. You my sir are what I like to call..... A Professional.

Yea it was pretty crazy. We exchanged the lead most of the race passing on the straight or if one of us went wide. The last lap how ever well it kind of turned into a 1 lap sprint. I knew Dangit was faster in the last turn so I tried getting him on turn 1 but went wide and he kept the lead. We came up on Logan and he got a birds eye view of the calamity on the last turn. We both went off into the grass, we touched and I tried to hard to stay off him and spun the car backwards in front of pit road...so I just hit reverse and backed it down pit road. One wild finish

Thanks for the show, Roadrash and Dangit. Sad to say, it was the highlight of my race.

Wow, impressive camera work, yet again, JT. JT's lens misses nothing. It's almost spooky. :scared: I agree with Brett, and hope the Oct. update will include FF and Rew.

Do we know what night we will be racing next week??

I believe it's Thursday. I think DJ said so last night

I donno how much you can see from your own replay, but every car is 'jumpy' besides your own when you save a replay. I still think I had the position, but if people feel like I was at fault it's not a big deal. I'll be better next race as I know it's ok to GO when you say GO! The only reason I didn't pass bosh' at the start of the race was because I didn't want to get penalized and I thought I might pass him before the start line. Turns out I would have passed him after it if I would have just gassed it and kept going. Looking forward to the Vette race.

The call is ready ready ready GREEN. Not go. This is mostly a courtesy for those in the back not to get smoked. It's expected for all to speed up and go for it however it's not "go" in the traditional sense. Everyone should do what they got to do to win except for having a nose ahead of your lead driver at the line. Just like GTP Le Mans Series.

I don't think there was a fault with your off grass to accident. No one really suffered any. But the car on track had the line. More so because he turned dramatically left in a sudden motion in anticipation of your contact.

Not true at all. I watched the replay and everyone, except for a couple of cars, were running smoothe.

Is it just me or is anyone else feeling a little deja vu to the beginning of last season??

isn't that the strange feeling you've never been here before?!

The way we start the races has been tested in our off season and I as well as most everyone else feel that the system works really well. It has eliminated most off the problems with first corner incidents. When I call the start of the race I make sure all cars are on the straight before calling green to give everyone and equal chance.

One thing to remember; In this league we give EVERYONE respect no matter their skill level. DJ has worked hard to make this a premier racing league and we aim to keep it that way

It's a chemical firing of the synapses between the part of the brain running on "current time" and your memory. So what happens now seems to be a re-run because the experience is running directly to your memory. But then again......I'm just a professional idiot.

How eloquently put. You very much so are a professional, however, the idiot label belongs to me. So in future reference of yourself, please refrain from including "idiot" in your statements.

Uhh It's deja vu all over again?

I was attempting to use the hybrid name as a marker for the goal I'd like to reach. You think and you shall become type of thing. I am just going for high marks is all. With respect to your request I will cease to use "idiot" as a add on self label. Play on.

As far as the race incidents go, I don't think any incidents in our last race was to outrageous. Calm the aggression down a tad and we'll be fine. I'll be looking at incidents with a closer eye to see if this aggressive behavior continues.

Excuse me for using Go instead of green, but you get my jist. There's no reason to be specific about things. Green/Go, there the same thing. Like I said before I still think I had a good position, I just didn't see dude behind me. I said after the replay that he wasn't at fault. So there's no more reason to go into it.

Speaking for myself. I reserve the right to "go into it" and dredge up the past if and when I deem it to serve a purpose, or when I have an inkling to just be an ass. Like now for instance.

My apologies kind sir. I feel as though I am somewhat of an idiot by nature, a savant if you will, never intending to make a professionalism of it. So by all means, do as you wish with your mantra. I will leave you at peace.

I'm just a professional idiot.

Wow! Are you kidding? Idiocy is actually a profession ? I think I have FINALLY found my true calling. With sincere apologies to Dangit, I think I could possibly shoot right to the top(or bottom?) of this field. If pay is relative to skill level (or lack thereof), I could make a lot of go. I mean green.

And peace be with you.

I could see where the temptation of all that GREEN would tempt one to make a GO of it. But if one should GO off course in their attempts to GO for the GREEN, I would only hope that they not be too stubborn to accept the blame, that is their own.
