Ok. I guess I can start a new list. It is very short.

I need apologize for the unintentional blaming of faster drivers for bumping into me.

I am sorry for being so slow.

I am sorry for not looking beside my car before turning into the apex of a corner.

I am sorry for letting a faster car by at the entrance of a corner.

Envy I am sorry I blamed you for anything, it was wrong and will not happen again.

I will make sure I stay out of the racing line for you faster racers from now on.

I hope the group will forgive me for venting my frustrations out during the race.
Please realize that I went from 3rd place to dead last in the space of about 150 ft! It was incredibly disappointing to me that this would happen with this group, this type of racing/bumping usually only happens to me in open lobby races.

I am sorry if I ruined anyones evening.

O man am i glad i put the old gtr on the trailer early and got the hell out of dodge.

I told myself last night I would respectfully decline to discuss the racing incidents, and I’m going to stick to that. $h!t happens, let’s just race.

My comment about "not very gratifying" was referring to driving around not being able to hear if my tires were squealing or not. I was unable to be as competitive as possible at a track that I already suck at. The last race was just unpleasant for me because of me and my headset.

On that note, I’m opening up my lounge for some Laguna practice.

Which race was the bumping? Monza was full of lag. I heard my car hit others but there was no contact seen from my view. More than likely I was hitting other drivers but I didn't know it. The lag stopped after a while.

Now as I posted to Envy just prior, you'll learn what you can do and with who. Bo and I have had some paired racing lately. Bo more than likely remembers my comment about going for a mouse hole if I see one after the Mazda Grand Valley race. Last night at Deep Forest I was going to go for an inside pass about lap 7 or 8 in turn 1 and Bo shut the door clean on me. Now I clearly understand that Bo understands what I'm going for and will shut me down. So I have a choice. Push it next time and make contact if I try too hard in the wrong place or change my game and tactic. Whichever it is, it's fun to calculate against a fellow racer like this. You should watch Bo, Dangit and myself race into the 2nd chicane at Monza. Dangit took the escape path and Bo and I bounced around. It was a race to and in a turn, with bumps and nobody is crying. Why? Because nobody darted their front end into anyone else although we certainly muscled each other around.

What I do know is that I'm running full damage in my next league to put an end to this bickering issue. Running off into a sand trap will be nothing compared to a broken car. We will have many situations like mine at the Daytona special event. Running in the lead up to the last few laps of the race then wrecking out. Oh well.

After watching the replay on deep forest and seeing how much more tire i had left than you and bo i should not have tried to pass bo where i did on the last lap. Might have had a better chance in one of the last 2 turns. Oh well, now i know for next time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to watch that. When did you pit?

I need to watch it to know for sure, but i think it was lap 11 or 12.

That turn on DF is tough especially on worn tires. The wall gets closer and closer each lap. Then the exit forces your car naturally to the left. With the (horrible) draft the way it is and being on better tires, that's the spot where a trailing driver will catch the car in front, leaving little to no room to pass. It's hard to make a pass on the right because of the push you get going up the hill.

I think you pitted lap 12/13. I was amazed how long you stayed out. Especially looking at the replay your tires were toast before you pitted. Great job though in recovering from the early spin. If you hadn't of spun that race was yours. Your always faster than me there.

I really screwed myself by not going in a lap earlier than i did. I was losing over a second every sector right before i pitted.

And it was another instance of "hot lap's don't mean ****" once the race is underway.

We've seen that before. I ran 1:27:2 at Laguna today but last night in the race my best was 1:29:2.

Exactly why I believe its a network thing. Can run different times depending on the day.

Yep.

Well crap. I was going to get on to practice, but the network is down for maintenance today.

I was on earlier. I got probably 40 laps in, then it went down. Let's hope there's an improvement from this maintenance.

I'm looking forward to this race!

I look forward to it as well! The race will be on Thursday.

Also, I have been thinking of adding a new rule for future events. What do you guys think of a max limit of 5% on engine down-tuning?

That would limit races being dominated by torque monsters.

There is no way to enforce it. Your better off giving a pool of cars that are legal finding their max power and then coming up with a equal hp/weight to make them all competitive.

I think it's too damn hard to put cars on an even playing field unless everyone runs the same car. It's great to try but it's super hard to regulate.

You may be better off going purely with PP instead to make it a more level playing field.

I think you are right. All the other events, except for the rally event, are PP regulated

Only other option is one make or regulated race cars

Isn't that what Thursday is? Oh wait, it's a 2 make race....Ford GT or Nissan GTR.

Well i was originally going with the subaru but it quickly turned into "adapt or die". Adapt it is.

For me torque is one thing I either like more of or decrease for handling. There is a way to tell who has what type of torque by watching replays of each car. I won't get into that because it's too complicated and not worth the time involved. And who wants to watchdog anyway.

Just as in real racing people are going to get the most they can from the regulations that are set. Be it squeezing 1 more hp from an engine to 1 more lb of downforce. It's going to happen.

I know this first race is not going the way you intended. But without a pool of eligible cars, like Dangit said, it's adapt or die. Besides I like the challenge of the high torque, slippery tires and no traction control.

Congratulations cB for your championship!

Way to go cB! Congrats.
