Well the Alpha is out, DJ's comment about rewarding a good driver left me out.


The Nissan is fast, but a little tail happy for my ability.


So that leaves the BMW as my choice, smooth as butter, 50/50 weight distribution, nice power delivery, excellent handling. I just hope I can beat DJ. I'll post my color choice later tonight.


Actually looking forward to have someone to race with!!

Trust me, I am RUSTY. I have not done anything much since initial testing for this season. I am off this Wednseday so i'm hoping to practice with you guys at least this week.

That Beemer is awful nice. I would probably have picked it. Hmmm so i'm on the clock...


Just a reminder, the Camaro, RX-8 and BMW are off the board now!

I won't keep you guys in suspense long. I need a car that is easy to drive and fast. So I'm going Ferrari! It may be on the heavy side but I believe I can keep this car on the track and turn consistent lap times.

I'm really surprised by the way the draft is shaking out. I thought the Camaros and Beemers would be the first to go. I was honestly hoping to get a RX-8 but I'm very happy with the Ferrari. I didn't think the Mazdas would be so popular though. Even the Fairlady Z being picked in the top 5 was a surprise to me. Don't get me wrong it's a great car but I was sure the other cars would be picked first.

If you have pics of your race car don't be afraid to post them here!

BTW, to upload pics:

find a way to get them from your PS3 to the internet (USB stick or using PS3 hardware)

Upload your pics to file sharing site such as Photo Bucket or Picasa

Copy url of the pic, click the insert image button above and presto!

Does anyone know if you take off custom painted wheels if you get the color chip back to use again?
 
DJ, I'm going to withdraw now so guys have time to try the Mazda out. It's a great car and I'd rather someone else be able to run it if I can't race. Hopefully I can run some practice sprints with the group but a long race isn't the least bit appealing right now.

I vote for ncr joining when he can in a Mazda even if two are taken.

I totally understand. Focus on getting better. Join in whenever you want and feel free to use the Mazda.

ya rest up get well, besides you need to be ready for GT6 and the new PS4 whenever it comes out!!!!
