I'm a good 1-1.5 slower due to the lower hp. I can keep up as long as I stay in the draft or don't get passed on the long straight.

Hhmmmm, I was out in front and no one was in my draft.....and then there was a flat black Camaro in my mirror. It will be interesting when we stop experimenting and concentrate on racing.
 
Allright it's officially preseason STC! I've only run the Mazda on Laguna and Suzuka-really interested to try Spa and Motegi. Forgot how wacky the online draft is. I kept wanting more downforce the other night.

Yeah, following someone into a corner is always an exciting event. Last night at Spa RoadRash and I went wide near the end of a lap. I was leading him and my draft just pulled him along into the run off. I think the Camaro is one of the better cars for front down force and it didn't help in this case.

RR and myself tested Motegi. I was leading with him following. He was able to keep pace but not able catch me for a passing chance. Seems the draft just wasn't sucking him up to my back bumper. But it could just be the nice power that the Alfa has on the long straights.

The Alfa was pulling away from the BMW on the straight aways last night. I think the Alfa has greater power to weight ......and the nicest exhaust note.

I think the Chevy is lighter than the BMW. The M3 is 1342kg.

Word from the league has it that they are quite prepared to hear a fair amount of grumbling concerning the car regulations and competitive balance. The league office would like to remind you that, as with any racing series, providing a competitive balance among different vehicles is a difficult thing to do. Each vehicle has its strengths and weaknesses and the league fully expects each car to be competitive. The official word from up top is "grip it and rip it!" among other things not suitable for print.

Red Robin is correct. Don't stress to much on tonight and rest up that arm.

Yeah, DJ, GO HARD RACING is fine. Probably better than GO HARD AND RUIN YOUR RUBBER RACING. And lots better than GO HARD FOR MORE THAN SIX HOURS AND CONTACT YOUR CHIEF MECHANIC RACING.

That was fun tonight. Nice job, DJ. It's going to be a really good STC. How many seasons will this be?
 
That was fun last night. I noticed strengths and weakness for pretty much all cars depending on the track. This should be a crazy series. Sorry for the 4 wide into turn 1 at Daytona. I was half asleep and just got in over my head.

There were a couple of tracks where I think the Ferrari will shine. Last night though was about shaking off my rust. Also sorry for plowing into Envy at daytona.
