I don't want to use a prize car because I want to keep them pretty much stock and my b spec driver can't win with the 62 Buick or the Cobra. What do you suggest that I can purchase from the dealerships and what tune do you use?

I won it with the '66 Cobra with only a few minor upgrades - air filter and whatever the straight pipe catalytic converter upgrade is.

And you can use it for the Historic Race Car Cup. But if you're still stuck on Supercar Nostalgia, i suspect the Toyota 7 may be a bit expensive at about 4.5 million. And it doesn't come up very often in the ucd. Get yourself over to The Marketplace and see if you can trade another car for one.

Don't bother with Toyota 7...you'll probably forget about all the things at this stage by the time you get it. Keep trying with the Buick 62.

in a spec i did it the countach way. i think i came back to it later on when i'd won stuff. when i did it b spec i used the jag XJ 13. plus got it as a prize car for an endurance race.

The 2J is the best car for Bob in this race.

I did this easily in the Toyota 7 which I won in B Spec. Couldn't get Bob to win the Cote d'azur race for love or money in it. Got a 2J from the market place and Bob won by about 8 seconds from the second place 2J! Bob could actually take the corner after the tunnel without crashing!

Its a truly amazing car, plus for the American championship it destroys the competition.

Worth trying to get a trade done for it!

It can be done with the Cobra. My Bob did it. Just requires virtually every upgrade in te book. The damn Historic Race Car series though...

In A-spec I did it with the Challenger 70 RM fully modded. The first race was close, because the 2j caught me in the straight. Race no 2 was a walk in the park:-)

In B-spec bob nailed it with the Toyota 7, but it took some runs at azur (4) before my bob won by 0.4 sec:-)

I did it with my lp400 moded. You can always try to get one stock on the in the online dealership and mod it. Won't be 0 km, but it'll work.
