I think the McLaren F1 Fully Modded has about the same specs as that. I know that's what I'm going to use for the Nurburgring 24 Hour.

The furai is a better choice for Nurburgring because the GP section is extremely technical, and the furai is one of the quickest cars around corners (rivaling FGT)

just a note to say that the X2010 (not X1000) does have headlights, and they work very well. you do need a proper race car to do this as someone said further up, the AI do use LMP cars. a modded GT500 migh be fun

I won the dream car seasonal at spa with a tuned F430 (597PP iirc) in racing hard tires, against a Jaguar XJR-9 which is an LMP car and also had a massive head start to boot.

Road cars driven by humans can compete against LMP cars driven by GT5 AI.
Zonda R and the ZR1 rm vette would destroy the competition in capable hands.

I like to use underpowered cars for a challenge, but I would have said the Merc F1 LM.
