Standard clean OLR rules:
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times​
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track​
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible​
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty​
  • no hybrids​
  • no cheating of any kind​
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules​
  • save your replay​
Other notes:​


  • Hotlap in online free run
  • We hope that you also post the tune(optional), but if it's your secret then keep it safe! :lol:​
When a replay is needed?​


  • Fastest time of each particular car will need to be verified = [R]
  • Request can be made by a fellow member for a particular lap to be verified = [R]
  • You have 7 days time to submit your replay, starting from the date shown after the [R]
  • Use: *"Save The Best Lap Replay" / "Ghost Replay" -function:

shows that the replay has been posted and verified.​

red_flag.jpg
shows that the submitted lap turned out to be dirty or doubtful.

black_flag.jpg
shows that the replay has not been provided in due time.​


How to save & submit a replay:​

  • Save your replay in the normal* way
  • Quit game​
  • Insert a USB Storage Device​
  • Using the XMB, select game, select Saved Data Ultity​
  • Scroll down to your Replay​
  • Press triangle & select copy​
  • Select the destination for the copy of your replay (USB Storage device)​
  • Copy it​
  • ZIP the PS3 Folder​
  • Post the zip file from your USB Storage Device to this thread​

There could be another tenth or two in there, but be damned if I'm going to spend 3 days straight trying to get it.
 
The Corvette doesn't seem to great anymore, im only just under 1:58.5 average, best at 1:58.2 with new gearing that I'll update later in my garage.

Well that's the biggest load of crap then, PD can't feed me any BS that a Viper is better than a Corvette, or the Elise for that matter, which can't beat an HSV in races I've seen.

5th gear is tuned to be long for drafting under race conditions, but i don't think it would have a major impact on hot-lap time.

The handling just isn't there for me, it seems a little better straight line though which could help come race day.

Which shows PD's stupidity at times even more, I'd accept the V10 being faster on the straights, but not the Viper in the corners, not a hope.
 
IIRC, the Viper was a pretty competitive racer a few years ago (in GTS, then GT2 - at about the same time as PD were developing the game)... not the case now, where the Viper doesn't even run in the faster classes and is destroyed by Porsche and Ferarri in GT2.
 
Whats the point of having this in the settings forum if settings arent available for all cars? Its just a time trial. Anyway I might have a go at this at some point.

All cars labelled RVT, TLD or DC (or any other tuning garage tag that may appear in the future) set ups are in their respective threads.

I'll go out on a limb and say that 1'55.XXX can be done in the 111R
 
Yea i believe that, i think a low 1:55 is possible in my GTLM but on a sixaxis im limited with what can be achieved.
