What he, and I mean, Is if you think a concept car should no longer be classified as a normal car then where should it be put? there are only three category's in the game .. normal/race/tuner .. we cannot have unclassified cars in the game, it needs to fit somewhere so the only solution would be that which I posted previously, a 'concept' classification which would also encompass all other cars that are not production, race, or tuner cars.

[Also, I was not expressing an idea that I am wanting in the game, I was simply explaining why a 'concept' classification does not already exist, it would be more hassle than it's worth for PD]

I also understand what was suggested originally, that it should be excluded from 'normal car' time trials, just as a singular non-eligible car, but I hardly think that would be fair for the poor little thing.
I'd suggest you reread all my posts in this thread

You have three other posts in this thread, all easily understandable, why do you think I need to reread them?

I'm talking about the game, not real life. Why are concepts usually faster with the same PP? Why they are lighter and more powerful? Doesnt make sense.
In PP races, a big part of the most competitive cars are concept cars.

That's just due to the PP system being broke, its only a rough guide. My view PP overrates horse power & under rates weight generally. Hence weight reduction gives better lap times per pp points "spent" in most cases.
Its all subjective & varies very much from track to track.
A lightweight car with a good power to weight ratio & hence horsepower will be competitive everywhere except power tracks.

Quick test
Reduced power & increased weight on Mazda RX-8 concept (typeII) '01 to match RX-8 Type S '07 There is now a difference of 3PP between the 2 cars.
That's driving skill territory on who wins.

Reducing power is not a good benchmark for similar lap times as that leaves a nice spread of torque & hence better acceleration unless the car is overpowered, adding power would give a better idea but wasn't going to buy the bits.

Those 3 PP difference may not seem a lot, but it is. The RX8 conceps handle better than the production version aswell. You need to be quite a lot better player than the other to beat him with a non-concept RX8.
