Cmon sweeden, it was fun, i was fighting with two others until i pited in(and reminded everybody else to do it). After the pit i went straight to last place tho:P

Did some damage to the leaders tho, sorry guys:\

Great race today guys! It was very close the whole race with the drafting. Congrats to The_Black_Stig on the win! Don't worry about it Matyltest, it was all good.
I won't be able to make it next Saturday. My band has a gig that day.

was a good race
always waiting for Mchid81 doing a mistake but he didn t ;-)
don t worry Matyltest, you taking part added a bit of action, but... so my driving was a bit more agressive against you

i want to propose to tune the swift at its limits, i think the races will stay as close, the gain of speed makes it more challenging and gives more chances of catching up once behind ( if you are driving good, you can catch up quicker, if your driving "bad" you lose more time)

what do you think of it akmuq?

hope to see you in the next race

Sorry I could not make it this time either. I had to work 2 hours extra thus I did not get off work until 3. :grumpy:
I will try to make it for the next race.

i think the track was boring unless you had slipstream if you didnt it was a very lonely race, i wouldnt pick this for the series....

crap.... ur in Ireland! Im sorry man, I had this on my calander and everything as 6pm cst lol. I am committed to the series though so sorry..

I don't think I can do Sunday unless it's afternoon, which is morning for the majority racing so we can't do that. Can everyone do Saturday?
It's really tough to make decisions. I'll put the new thread up in a minute.

well i somehow missed topgear anyhow cause i hadta go somewhere...
sorry will defo particeipate in the r est of series though

I'm still in loved the race Sunday . Between met n pag there was some really good racing . I had so much fun .

Anyone interested in this series again? The races would be shorter and there would be multiple races a round, with a shorter number of rounds. Tires would be sport hard. I'm not sure about the tuning because I haven't raced these competitively in a while. The series would start in July. It would be something like 5 rounds of 2 races each with races of 30-40 miles and no pitstops. Sort of like touring cars. It would be heavy damage and no aids apart from ABS and Automatic transmission if people want to use that.
Anyone interested?

I would do it if its going to be on Saturday

Not sure as it's a while away yet but I'll probably do it midweek at around 9 or 10 PM BST.

Well considering it is summer I would be willing to do any day but Sunday

Well I doubt I'm going to get a grid here anyways so I don't see anything happening with this. I do have other plans though.

Announcing Endurance races.

I am going to organize a couple of endurance races. First off
2 hours at the mountain!!!!
A classic event from GT3. It will be roadcars like Impreza's, RX-7's, Supras, Evos and old skylines on Trial Mountain. I will test soon and get them to lap the circuit in about 1:36 or 1:37 and set distance to 72 laps.

Second
Passage to the Collosio!!!
Another race from GT3, just this time on a different variation of the Rome Circuit. The cars will be hot hatches like the Clio, the Swift, the Focus and others.

Maybe if Seattle gets put into this game I'll do a 40 lap race in muscle cars on it. Otherwise I may do it on Indy Road.

I might re-introduce the 1,000 miles from GT4, but at half distance so the 500 miles. Tracks will be the same if Opera Paris gets in. If not I'll put in another tight, short track.

Who's interested?

Everything is up in the air at the moment.

I've been thinking a lot about starting this up again and I really want to.

So I've come up with a track list:

Suzuka East
Rome Reverse
Grand Valley East Reverse
Madrid Mini Reverse
Cape Ring Inside

Also, I'm thinking of doing a sort of shootout qualifying the day beforehand where everyone gets a one lap shot at a clear track to qualify and we just line up in grid order and start race under the fastest first option.

Race format will be 2 short races. About 20 minutes a race.(will get proper distances) and reverses grid for race 2.

Not sure about regulations. I might tune the car more but I will definatley change the tyres to sport hards.
