Oh sweet there's a vid for this rig. The guys that built/owns it just posted it in the iracing forums a couple days ago.

In my opinion the BEST setup and "race room" i have ever seen. 👍

Yeah that's how I found it, I was Googling sim setups and wandering around different results and this one showed up in iRacing's forum. It is a gorgeous setup and room, I agree!

This is one of the rare motion rigs that have movings screens too, which really adds to the immersion.

For those who don't have an iracing account:

A thread like this just needs to have pictures :D

If only i had the space ........................

If we all had the space Lol
I think I'll Have to either move house or build an extra room lol
Amazing rig!

Oh man, that is drool-worthy. Does he have a T500 too? I noticed the F1 style wheel on the base in one of the photos, it looks like the T500 F1 wheel.

Very smart looking system, so well executed in the build, tidy and professional.
I agree, has to be among the best!

Really like the originality and how the plinth sets it off. Such excellent detail with the logos in the carpet all within a tidy themed room too! 👍

9/10

The only real weakness I see:
Logitech friggin speakers, makes me mad, lol

Wow! Some serious fabrication went into this setup as well as the ambience decor!

Anyone else notice what appears to be a motorcycle handlebar brake lever mounted vertically to the shifter's shaft?
I wonder if thats for a handbrake.

I'm very meh about his display system. I'm more curious about his motion system.

Maya, Patrick uses SimXperience motion, you can see the black fox in front of his rig one of the pic in iRacing actually have that.

so my guess is instead of putting the actuators behind the seat. This is built like a "SIMCRAFT VERTEX2 GT" where the actuator push the whole thing that pivot on a hardmount axis.
my rough guess might be wrong but im 100% sure it's SimX motion box that is infront of that rig

I saw that as well, did you notice the motorcycle brake lever mounted on the gear shift shaft?

im not sure what that is Jogo, but i thought it's a real sequential shifter. saw it in rally and some cars have that.

Yeah noticed the DSD sequential. Very ingenious mounts and overall design. The motion looks a little, I don't know, jerky, I think its due to the way the SimXperience actuators are mounted. The inertia is making for a slight rebound effect. This could actually be good though. A+ for ingenuity for sure. Really great build.

Ah I think I know how he accomplished the movement. He's got the SimXperience actuators and the third traction loss module actuator laying flat instead of vertically. The rig seems to rid on ball bearing tracks, which would account for the extra inertia when changing direction. Pretty ingenious way to save money and re-purpose the SimXperience to do something it wasn't designed for.
