Yes, but only in the UK apparently. We have special hotlines and contingency plans and all sorts of things in typical "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!111one" government hysteria

But only England has the website where you can get drugs without a consultation from your doc (which crashed as soon as it was opened yesterday :) ).

They're just leaving us in Scotland to die! We're doooomed, I tell ye.

Aaaaachooo! Oink

"Swine Flu" is clearly just another scam.
I'm really sick of Neurotic Parents keeping their kids off school incase one of them catches it.

And that bloody Dettol advert with the kids sneezing on a ball and the mother screws up her face... How Paranoid are we getting about getting the cold?

It Just shows what Television can do to people.

That's the most stupid thing I've ever read, and I don't mean your pig impressions.

That sort of thing annoys me too. It's exactly why everyone's ill all the time. Children need to be exposed to germs in order to build up their immunity. Mollycoddling them just means they suffer from every little thing society throws at them, and means that they get exposed to all the really nasty stuff that survived the pathetic spraying.

Or "a bit of the flu." You've either got it or you don't. You can't have "a bit" of it

And it's not "the flu". It's "flu", that's it, no "the". At least the word "swine" seems to be satiating the moronic desire of most to put a redundant word in front of the word "flu".

One of my pet hates is people declaring they're "full of 'flu". My retort is usually "No, you're full of cold and you'll live"...

Oh, you must have difficulty not retorting "no, you're full of 🤬"!!

Err, no... media hype and public misunderstanding of the health risks in one thing, but I can assure you, the H1N1 outbreak is not a "scam" and to say so is absolutely false.
