Boring!
The trailer really dosent make this film look like how it plays.

At this point i usually give you a brief plot summary, but i cant. Because there is no way, you can summaries this film briefly. And to be honest i've no idea what the plot was about, other than Oil. Its Traffic, but about oil, sort of. Clooney is an agent (i think), Maaat Daaamoon is a family man who works for an oil tycoon company (i think) & then theres loads of other people.

Good points?? Well Clooney & Daaamooon are as good as they usually are & clooneys gut is pretty funny. All the acting is very good, i dont think there was a bad actor in there, well Amanda Peet, isnt that good, but she's by know means bad. Plus the ending is quite good. (I refer to the end bit with Bob). Oh and the "interigation" seen with Clooney is pretty good & a fair few people went "urggh" at a certain bit. Plus i didn't find it that boring to begin with, for about the first 30-40 mins, it was ok-to-good.

Bad bits?? well the hole film is a mess, its confusing as hell, i've no idea what the hell was going on , other than people wanted oil. There's some other bits about middle-easterners (again i think they were), but i just didnt care. Your suppost to feel sorry for them, being starved and out of work, but i just didnt, that was the weakest story going & i really didnt care.

Ok its not terrible, its just a huge mess, far to confusing. Its not like i'm dumb, i have no problem keeping up with complex movies, but this was confusing because it was just a messy film. Sorry Clooney, your fat gut was a waist of time.

5/10 (very genorous!)

I agree it was pretty boring, except for the fingernail scene which had me almost unable to look.

Clooney didn't really do a tremendous job in this film, which is why I think his Oscar was more of a career consideration thing...

The finger nail scene stopped me walking out . I was with a few mates and we went to see it because it was meant to be good ect but me and one the guy's wen't for drinks and took our time, 20 mins later we went back in only to see it reacing the climax. I can't believe I spent £6.50 to go and see that. The film wasn't badly acted and the story wasn't complete pap, it was just way too slowand dragged out and it bored the hell out of me.

When I saw it I was dead tired and I kept accidently dozing off. I plan on renting it and giving it another shot before I pass judgement.
