T500rs and Clutch

Hi all,
I wasn't able to find this info anywhere: is it possible in GT6 to use the T500rs clutch pedal without using the external add on gear stick? If yes, how can I enable it?

In Gran Turismo? I don't think so.

I know for a fact that the G27 clutch pedal could be used in GT6 without actually using the H-shifter, so you could shift with the paddles. It's most likely doable with the T500 as well.

T500 plays by slightly different rules for some reason. If I still had my stock T500 pedals on my rig I'd set it up and test it out but I remember something about no clutch unless you also plugged in a TH8RS shifter.
