This is simple... Just vote the option that applies to you please. :)

Never mind that a new rim is coming for now. Only vote based on what you currently own.

Thank you very much for your help!

Someone has been exceedingly cagey in general lately. Must have one burnt finger, as it seems it may be in many a pie. Or just enjoying being cagey, what would I know.

Who are you speaking of?

I posted the poll because I would like to get a sense for how many people may need both sets of replacement switches for the wheel. (F1 rim and base itself)

Voted Both, but I only use the F1 rim now. The GT rim collects dust on a shelf.

I have both & voted both, use both about equally, (depends on virtual car driven).

Hopefully replacement switches for the yet-to-be released Ferrari GT wheel won't be necessary...
...only time will tell on that.

Well, I've only got the GT rim at the moment. I'm thinking about getting the F1 rim, after I get the TH8, but that's off-topic.

I'm also curious what this is for :D.

Have both & voted accordingly, and use both about equally.

Post #6 seems to indicate mrbasher is considering sourcing replacement switches for the current T500 GT & F1 rims.

Ah, don't mind me. I just noticed a few coy comments here and there from you. Like you have some juicy inside word on something(s). Please disregard the oaf that is I.

I have a Sam Maxwell Momo wheel and the GT wheel. Sam's wheels are $500 a pop but worth every penny. I have a picture posted on this site somewhere.

BTW I didn't vote since Sam's wheel wasn't there.

***Edit***

Here's the photo

You might notice that there is no cord hanging out like some of the other attempts at a replacement wheel have.

Actually Left, that's great that you mention that. It looks like you are still using the stock paddle shifters? That's the purpose of this poll, to get a handle on how many people might need which switches. :) So, for you, if you'd like, just vote "I only have the GT rim."

The switches in the F1 wheel in the paddle shifters, have problems very quickly, causing you to up or downshift one gear to many, or sometimes not working at all. Instead of writting every month to TM for spare swithches I rather put in a switch I have to pay for, but one that does work...

That is why this poll is done, so they can see how many swithches would or could be needed.

👍

Have them both right now. Would probably sell them to get a Sam Maxwell tho. Hmmmm...

Paddle switches seem to be holding up fine, but I'm glad we have the Basher on the case anyways.

And John Bodin. ;) It was his idea after all. I just helped facilitate/speed the process.

The poll was to determine the potential needs of the community and how to best offer a solution. Without getting into the details of it, new switches will likely be offered as a single set for a particular rim or a full set so they can replace both the base switches and F1 rim switches. :) Hopefully, only once... Then you can forget they are in there.

Edit:

I wanted to mention something else... Someone pointed out that I've been quiet as of late. When my posting slows, it generally means my wheels are turning on something. ;) I also don't post much about those/that something(s) without having all the details myself. Rest assured, when the time comes, I will be posting. ;)

Yes I use the stock shifter but Sam offers his own shifters which about 99% of his customers use. For me being a right arm amputee his shifters wouldn't work for me, the large stock ones I can use however.

Just put in my reserve set switches in my F1 wheel this weekend, no more spares, and I am not asking TM for any new ones anymore, as expierienced before these will last me about 2 maybe 2.5 months ..... so I am ready to buy :)

Lucky for you the parts are set to arrive today. Then if we include the 2 weeks or so to get to you ... Yep, you should be in business soon enough :)

Wonderfull, I will be looking forward to your announcement 👍

ARGH! my hardware is delayed a day in shipping :( Oh well, I will have it tomorrow. The boards have arrived though, just need to go pick them up from the mail place. Maybe I'll post a pic later :)

Edit: Here's a photo for ya... I think this should take care of whatever demand there may be LOL :)

I want to point out, in case this isn't already apparent... This is a Bodin Solutions / BasherBoards joint effort. So, even though you can't see it well, written REALLY TINY on each of those boards is "Bodin Solutions / BasherBoards" :)

hehe :) I'm wondering if I should have put a label on them "Keep away from small children" They are only about an inch at the widest!

Lets have a contest!!!

The person that can guess how many sets of boards are in that picture first and/or closest, wins a free set of their choosing: Either the F1 rim or base switches.

Get to guessing!

Double the vote's which was 50 wheels that need two wheels each.

I am saying... 200 PCB's

Edit:

Are the switches going to be different in quality, tactile or audible click?
