The camera could be placed higher and/or further as now it only shows sky. From your body movements though it seems as an exciting ride. What speeds are we talking about?

Get a GoPro Hero HD and tether it to the side of the boat. I use it on the track all the time, Its waterproof too!

Lol it is a Gopro, Ik theangle sucks..it was the first race we set it up as. That was actually an extremely calm race for us. Average speed is 75mph.

I'm afraid neither would work. The first because all you would see is water and the second because of all the movement. I reckon a good solution would be a camera mounted on a stick on the nose.

New camera is going in the same exact spot, just 6 inches higher.

We do when its very rough or when were trying to catch someone lol....drafting doesnt work in boats haha

Lake George NY. Parents lived in Ft. Lauderdale for about 10 years, still go down a lot. Closest weve been to to their racing is Key West, Sunny Isles or Orange Beach alabama, which was freakin gorgeous
