Ask if they can do a short feature in Grand Turismo TV about a detailed look of the up and coming GT5 online features, livery and track editors, car list with detail interiors and damage (which ones?) weather etc, etc.... That way we don't have to rely one this useless journalist that don't ask the right questions. (Skidmarks :sly:)

Do not mention Skidmarks, they are not Important. That is a complete waste of interview time.

Someone already has: "I know the recent videos have reverse lights, and you have mentioned skid marks, jokingly, does that mean they're next?"

How about 3D Trees? :sly:

It is quite easy to set up a Twitter account, for people listing questions here, why not create one, send the questions, and then close it again after the interview?

Why is nobody acknowledging the locked camera issue!?

its not minor, this game is about driving a car your looking at, if the camera is **** the experience is ruined!

Please ask to unlock the chase cam or have the option to unlock or lock it.

Taken from the Kotaku article...

"There are over one thousand cars, divided into two classes: Standard and Premium. The standard classes are GT favorites like the Lamborghini Countach or the Ford Mustang. The Premium cars are newer automobiles like the Ferrari Enzo or the Lamborghini Gallardo. Those Premium cars will be the only ones that will featured "panel separation" and deformation. The developers have created fully modeled interiors for the Premium cars, as well as doing detailed modeling for the car's undercarriage and even the exhaust pipes! The Standard cars apparently won't have the exact interior modeling. For example, an Enzo's interior will look like the real deal, but your typical Mustang's will look like exactly like Mustang's."

This has made me feel alot better about the whole no cockpits for standard cars, but I would still like to get a 100% confirmation from Kaz. Plus the line "GT favorites like the Lamborghini Countach" has worried me and can't seem to take the rest of the article seriously because before GT5, there was no Lamborghini! A simple "Will every car have a cockpit view" and Kaz with a simple "Yes". That's all I want.

Why does this cockpit issue need to be resolved NOW?

What ever they mean is the answer. If it really is only 200 cars with a modeled cockpit, is everyone just going to cry and complain until PD delays the game again so they can meet the needs of everyone? If it's true, it's true, only 200 cars have interiors. Otherwise, deal with it?

if they really are going to add all the GT2 cars back in, sweet - Pulsar GTI-R will be back in the fold!

Can someone PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE ask to have the chase cam view not locked onto the car like gt3!?!?!?

the camera views in gt3 were awesome!!!! but then gt4 locked it onto the car and it sucks!

It needs a bit of movement like forza motorsport and gran turismo 3

if we dont have cockpit views on most of the cars this is more important than ever!!!!!

the locked camera is going to ruin this game for me all my mates that play gt!!!

and i hated gt4 because of it!

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!??????

I don't think the camera being locked on is that big of a deal. It's my favorite view to play in, and I rather like the camera being locked in, but that's just me.

Heck PD should just make the 2 different chase cam styles.

Anyways, why do you hate the locked camera so much?

i just cant stand it! the car starts sliding you go to correct it an it just flicks around, no sense or where the cars properly facing.

Play gt3 and then play gt4 and youll see why i want it unlocked so bad, the locked camera is absolute ****e.

Option to choose would be great as its a win win

I've played every GT, and to be honest I never really noticed the camera being locked on up until a year ago. :dunce: Guess I should pay more attention.

we need the gt3 chase cam back!!!!

or at least the option to lock and unlock the camera

Hopefully we can ask Kaz about it tomorrow.

Best case scenario. we get options!!!

I want his autograph! :nervous:

And if that's not possible, I should ask if he wants to develop a PC version. 💡

:D

Who drives in chase cam setting? How is that realistic? it's like driving from a helicopter. I always use first person view and watch the road. That's the best and only way to drive for me. Cockpit view has the steering set too sensitive, oversteery feel always prevails. This is why, especially with a wheel, first person is the best way to drive if you want the 'in car' feel. maybe it'll be changed with cockpit view, but roof cam and first person were always the best for me.

Not all of us choose to go 'hardcore realistic' all the time.

Its a game made to have fun and i prefer interior view and chase cam.

lots of people do :)

You answered your own question in your statement. It's the best way to drive for you. Every person is different. I'm best in chase cam, that doesn't mean I don't use first person or cockpit view. I'm just better in chase. And it's a preference. And the fact that there are multiple views means everyone can enjoy a slice of the Gran Turismo pie. :sly:

1) I seem to drive faster with chase cam... just do... probably from when i first started playing... although I do like cabin/cockpit view. Bumper view is anoying... you can't really tell much difference between cars except for feel and so it defeats the whole point of having 1000 cars if you ask me.

2) I don't have twitter, so can someone ask him for me and the millions of others... '20 tracks 70 variations WTF?'.. tis slightly more imporant that the premium car v normal car nonsense.

3) How can I follow this? and when is it?

Sound improvements?

(1) Sounds - Are there major improvements? What are they?
(2) Tire Screeches - Are unnecessary screeches minimized or eliminated?

One of the biggest complaints I have read and continue to read have been "sound". I am quite surprised no one has yet to effectively challenge the team regarding their lackluster sounds including the constant tire screeches. If these are major complaints, why have past interviewers not been more vocal about "sound."

Interviewers need to be more vocal and upfront about the communities concerns regarding "sounds" during interviews, especially when Kaz has the floor. Where are the tough questions regarding "sound"?

There is a 70 page ongoing thread discussing "sound" in Gran Turismo. There are plenty of other threads regarding "sound" as well.

Yep, agreed, IMO (just covering my back here) chase cam is a silly view that is throwback to the old arcade games. For me you can't beat hood cam, followed closely by bumper cam.

Again thats 'your' personal preference, i Highly enjoy the chase cam, i like seeing the awesome car im driving.

Heres a video which shows exactly why i HATE the locked chase cam.

http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_gran_turismo_5_e3_high_quality_gameplay_2-15955_en.html

the car starts sliding a tiny bit an then just flicks and spins out, if the camera wasn't locked id bet $100 he wouldn't have spun out.

Its a crap camera angle and needs to be changed back like the gt3 cam.

Someone please mention this!

I haven't got twitter so can someone ask to clarify the 20 tracks issue.
Is it 20 tracks with 70 different layouts such as the 3 nurbergring layouts.
Or is it 70 tracks and 20 countries or what.

Or if the 70 variations include reverse tracks or not.
