yeah but what you dont understand is vtec advances the timing increases horse power and tourqe.. noone understands Vtec until they actually drive a real vtec motor its not just a noise its a boost in tourqe and horse power which is not in GT5 at the moment. Go drive a DOHC vtec car then youll get it. Its like a Turbo is turned on in the car....

I know how VTEC works, and it is in the game, which is why the engine in my Type-R might as well not be there until you hit like 7 grand, and it's why it's so infuriating to watch my B-Spec driver piddle around at like three and a half/four, being passed by every single car on the track because he's in a totally different area code than the torque band.

I understand you think its there but ive drove a type r. ingame civic type r is not vtec. when vtec kicks in there would be a rapid advancement that im not feeling in this game. Even if there is no noise the car would feel the advancement. BTW 1997-2000 JDM Civic Type R[EK9] .... Vtec engagement @ 6000 rpm. so you should be noticing vtec @6k not 7k so its not in the game if your thinking its @7k your just experiancing the motors natural non vtec tourqe curve.

Awesome... so much lead changes, its like an actual NASCAR Restrictor plate race.

I just watched that photo finish video and that was awesome. All of the position changing and drafting looks like a blast.
