Has anyone ever done this? Just curious to see what the drifting department thinks of this. Maybe one day there will be comps.

Sultan is actually pretty good. Anyway, is this on xbox or ps3? I am on ps3 and am very interested
Yes ps3, although i dont have a futo as of now, the sentinel XS got promoted to sports class. I might have to sell it because its not a coupe anymore.

I like that the car's handling has improved in GTA V, but they still haven't added proper drifting physics. Even with the slidey cars cheat enabled, it's still tough to initiate and maintain a drift. One of my biggest problems with GTA IV and V was that it is literally impossible to properly execute a drift around a 90 degree turn. You either don't get enough angle, or you do a 180 and crash into something.

What makes it even harder is forced automatic transmission. Yes, it would be very hard to implement a manual transmission in a game like this, but without it, I can't stay in the proper gear to drift. I go into a turn that should be taken in 3rd, and the game shifts up automatically. Game, don't hinder me. Help me.

But driving in this game was designed easier with driving aids because a good bulk of the gtav community aren't really good drivers, especially the kids.

*Cue chase scene with a chrome Adder going after a Bullet GT*

*Sharp turn approaching*
*Bullet GT executes the turn with ease*
*Noob in the chrome Adder forgets he has brakes and goes off a cliff*

The and Roosevelt slide well.
The key is to get the hand brake right but also let the revs drop. the transmission will then drop down and keep the car sliding.
However it's still difficult to maintain drifts on dirt due to the trolling tc
In summary drifting in gta is this
Wide approach with lots of speed
Turn
Hand brake
Gas
Keep wheel straight or slightly turned as opposite lock seems to make the tc cut in
So far the jb 700, Roosevelt and rat loader seem the easiest
